Welcome to Call of the Wild, a Dog Pack Roleplay.
All dogs, old and young, big and small, have a urge to be wild and free. Out here, it's the only option.
This Pack of Dogs has lived by the Great Lake for longer than anyone can remember. Recently, a new Alpha has come to lead the Pack. He is young though, and not many have faith in him. He is determined to make his Pack better than it ever has been before, even if that means inviting Lone Dogs to join.

There is no Leashed Dog rank in this group, only Lone and Pack. Please make sure your rank isn't taken before posting a form.
If there is already one Alpha, Beta, or Delta, you cannot make a form for the other spot! Your dog has to become the others' Mate.
One more thing! (I promise!) Alphas Are spoken to as "Alpha -name here-". Betas are "Beta -name here-". Deltas are "Delta -name here-". And Omegas are "Omega -name here-". So it would be "Omega Tiny", "Delta Nibbles", "Alpha Howl", or "Beta Mars".

Pack Rules
1.] The Alpha Male's word is law.
2.] Eating out of turn can get you demoted.
3.] Speaking out of turn can get you demoted.
4.] If you beat the Alpha in a fight, you will become the new Alpha.
5.] Hunting parties leave at noon, with one Patrol Dog.
6.] Patrols head out at dawn.
7.] Respect the Alphas, Betas, and Deltas. Disrespect Omegas.
8.] All dogs eat at the exact same time- at dusk. The Alpha(s) and Beta(s) eat first, and the Omegas eat last. If a dog eats before or after the "meal time" they will be scarred by the Beta and Alpha Male. (Attacked and given a scar along his or her side as punishment)

Roleplay Rules
1.] All forum rules apply.
2.] Only as many dogs as you can handle.
3.] If your inactive for a week (without saying why) you will be removed.
4.] Fades to dark is used.
5.] No powers or prophesies.
6.] Create your own form.
7.] Your dog is able to be hurt, as all can.
8.] You cannot catch every bit of prey or win every battle.
9.] You cannot kill unless the other RP'er says it's ok.
10.] Do not use text talk while RP'ing. Such as: "U" "R" "brb" "gtg" "ikr?".
11.] All dogs know each other in the Pack. So unless your Dog is
a Loner who joined, do not ask "What's your name?".
12.] You cannot RP dogs if you never made a form, even if they are going
to die within the first post.
13.] Do not go more than three pages without me, it's hard to keep up
like that.
14.] Do not RP more than two pages with only two people,
there has to be at least three people RP'ing on each page.
15.] Hybrids, Huskies, Dog-Wolves, German Shepherds, Husky-Like Dogs,
Normal Wild Dogs (Coyotes, Wolves, etc.), Are all NOT ALLOWED. All that
have been made before this rule do not have to be removed though.
16. No. Power. Playing. Power Playing = a warning, and if done again a ban.
Power Playing is when your dog gets into a fight, and even if they are weak
and small, they beat their opponent. (Example - Omega fights a bear,
Omega wins. Lone Dog fights a trained Beta or Alpha, Lone Dog wins instantly.)

What Do The Ranks Mean?
Each Pack member has a rank to show how much authority they have. Some ranks mean they are in charge of other Dogs, but lower ranks mean they need to listen to others. This post tells you about each rank and what a Dog with it can/can't do.

Alpha Male & Alpha Female
The Alpha Male leads the Pack with the help of his Mate and Betas. He can hunt, go on patrols, or just sit around. He decides on important matters, such as banishments, who joins, who the next Alpha is (Betas), and how dogs are trained. If not respected they have every right to attack that dog, and they have every right to disrespect those lower than them.
The Alpha Female is the Mate of the Alpha Male. She is by the side of her mate everywhere he goes, and helps lead the Pack. She cannot decide on big things like her mate, but she does rule the Nursery. Basically, the Alpha Male is the ruler of the normal Pack members, but the Alpha Female is ruler of the Mother-Dogs. After she has had her first litter, her job is to teach new mothers how to raise pups or help older mothers with their litters.

Beta Male & Beta Female
The Beta Male and Beta Female are the Mates who will take over when the Alpha Male dies. They back up the Alpha Male's orders, and go on patrols or hunt. Even if the Alpha Female is still alive, they will become in charge once the Alpha Male dies. Most of the time, their pups will grow up to be future Alphas of the Pack.

Delta Male & Delta Female
These two Mates take over the Beta rank when they become Alpha. They are taught how to lead the Pack and help out by the Betas. They hunt and patrol, but also help out the Healer with things like gathering herbs or keeping sick dogs company. Their job is to watch over the Pack while the Alphas and Betas are out or asleep, and to make sure everyone eats in the right order.

Mother-Dogs
Mother-Dogs are female Hunters and Patrollers who are going to have pups or currently have them. They don't have to do anything until their pups are made Patrollers, Hunters, Healers, Deltas or Omegas. Then they will go back to their normal rank. Until then, though, they are treated with as much respect as a Beta and can order any dog to do anything they want them to.

Elders
Elders are Dogs over the age of 10. They are taken care of until they pass away, and do not have to do anything. Omegas have to wait until the age of 12 to become a Elder. If a dog is born with something wrong; three legs, unable to walk, or had a injury that will never heal, then they will move to the Elder's den. No matter what age.

Hunters
These dogs hunt for the Pack. They cannot go on patrols. They eat after the Healers and Mother-Dogs, and must be treated with respect. Hunters are the smaller, quick dogs in the Pack. Because they are smaller and quicker, they are able to hunt better than bigger built dogs.

Patrollers (Guards)
These dogs patrol the borders and fight off attacking dogs. They cannot hunt. They eat after the Hunters, and are treated as a normal dog. No respect is needed. Patrollers are the bigger built dogs in the Pack. Because they are built larger; they can fend off intruders better than smaller dogs. In the winter time, they are allowed to hunt because there isn't much prey.

Pups
Pups cannot leave camp until their Mother-Dog brings them out at the age of four months. After that they may come and go as they want, but always with the Omega. They become a Apprentice at the age of five months, but if a runt they will be made a Omega. If they are born with something wrong with them (three legs, unable to walk, etc.) then they will become a Elder.

Apprentices
These dogs have turned five months old and are now training as Apprentices. They are able to choose their ranking; Hunter Apprentice or Patroller Apprentice, not Delta, Beta, Alpha, or Healer. Healers pick their own apprentices, as well as Deltas, and Betas & Alphas don't have them. Apprentices train until they are a year old, then they will use one more month to learn basic healing and what ever skill they didn't choose (hunting or patrolling). They become a full *hunter or patroller* at the age of one year two months.

Omega
The Omega is the lowest rank. They cannot hunt, patrol, or order other dogs around. They cannot have Mates, and they eat once all the other Dogs have had their fill. These dogs are to be treated with no respect at all. During winter, when prey is scarce, they are allowed to patrol borders while the normal Patrollers hunt.

L O V E L I F E:
He has loved two dogs in his lifetime. A small runt named Buttercup, who became his first mate. She passed away awhile back and he fell in love again. This time with a Fea named Icy. He loves her more than he thought possible, and is always fretting that he might lose her to sickness or even another dog. Him and Icy are mates now, and he couldn't be happier.

Husky Wolf Mix.
B A C K S T O R Y :
He was born a Lone Dog, but brought to the Pack to be raised. He was Omega until he was fully grown, and once he was he was quickly made Delta. The current Alphas were old and moved to the Elder's Den, so only a month later he was Beta. The camp was attacked by Foxes one day though, and killed the Alpha Male and the elderly Alphas. Howl became the new Alpha along with his Mate Buttercup, and the Alpha Female became a Hunter. Buttercup died not long ago. Though he misses Buttercup very much, he is finally happy again. For he met a new dog- Icy, who is now his mate.

Nibbles never thought she would find love in her life, but she did- and very suddenly. She fell in love with a brute named Demitri, and worries day and night that he doesn't feel the same about her.

B A C K S T O R Y :
She was born while the battle with the Foxes was going on. Her mother had her and her siblings while fighting off foxes. Once the pup were born though, she was to weak to fight and was killed. Nibbles' litter mates and father died in the battle also. Because her mother wasn't their to give her her grown dog name, she kept her pup name "Nibbles".

She loved a brute named Koda for awhile, but she buried her feelings when he found a mate. Deep inside she still wishes they could be together, though. Though she knows they never can, so she suffers quietly from her heartbreak.

Sakura's family brought her to the Pack when she was a newborn. Her mother was ill and couldn't feed her. Her father, not knowing what else to do, put her in the nursery next to a sleeping Mother-Dog. The next morning the Mother-Dog was more happy than surprised to see the pup, and quickly adopted her. Sadly the Mother-Dog vanished during the battle with foxes, and was never found.

Daisy fell in love at a young age. As a pup, she had a play mate named Fluff, a Beagle pup. Fluff's mother had died when he was born, and Daisy's mother took care of him. When they grew older, they became mates. Daisy found out she was expecting his pups only a week before he died in a fight with a coyote.

B A C K S T O R Y :
When he was born, he lived in a barn in the mountains with sled dogs and hunting dogs. His mother only had him and one other pup, his sister Jezebel. Soon after they were born, his mother died and they were raised by another Mother-Dog who had lost her pups. When he and his sister turned five months- their new fake mother died when she fell through some ice. For the next month, he and Jezebel were raised by their mean father Killer. While their father, Killer, was teaching Leo and Jezebel to fight mountain bears, Killer stepped on Jezebel and killed her. Out of grief and anger, Leo attacked his father but nearly died in trying. At the age of seven months he left his home and traveled through the mountains. On the day he turned eleven months, he found the valley. He was half starved and stunted in growth from lack of food. On his way down he stumbled and fell into the pond behind camp. There he was found by Delta Nibbles, half dead and unconscious. Her alpha, a dog named Alpha Howl, was in a good mood for some reason and allowed him to join. He is now a, still small, Patroller ranked right under a dog named Koda. When he joined the Pack he renamed himself Red, for his coat and all the death he has seen in his short life so far.

ᕈersonality; Mars is usually friendly among other dogs, she's more comfortable in a group rather than being alone, her personality can dramatically change, from being a loving, protective animal, to a vicious fighter, she'll die for her friends, or her pack, Mars is definitely not afraid to fight. She's more of a joker than a fighter, but she can be serious, when needed.

Build; I'm not as small as most collies, I'm pretty tall, compared to other dogs, probably cause my dad was a German shepherd, and I guess my fangs are built for hunting.
