Gemma gave Issac an affectionate nudge in the cheek before the Kiger filly rears with a mighty neigh and bolts right to the pasture.

Erin quickly snatched the flaxen mares lead. Then, her phone beeped, sending the mare into a panic. She reared, pulling the lead from her old owners hands. The sound was unexpected, and Rebel didn't like it. Erin sighed, watching her old mare bolt away. She pulled out her phone and read the text. No, I'm sorry. I think she may have gone on a ride but I'm not very sure. Anyways, if training her for juming put the poles in a straight line and trot with her over them. If dressage, work on lunging. Barrel racing or pole bending, work on lunging her around the barrels/poles. Rebel slowed and looked back at her former owner. She swiveled her ears back and forth before coming back, but still not close enough for Erin to grab her lead again.

Erin sighed and slowly walked up to Rebel again. She grabbed the mares lead and started massaging the base of her neck in soft circular motions. The mare needed to relax or they wouldn't be able to work today.

Dahvie kept her ears back as she just stood, ignoring his pulls, not wanting to go.

Isaac didn't know how to lunge. Some horse trainer he was. He shrugged and pulled out his phone to google it. He read the instructions so that he could try it for himself.

"I'll wait for someone so I don't hurt the mare" he mumbled putting his phone away and jumping into the pasture. He looked at Gemma and held out another carrot "the race is new and strange to you isn't it?" He looked at Gemma .

Lisa tacked up celestial "a short ride won't hurt" she smiled to the foal walking the two out of the barn. She made sure the filly had a blanket so she wouldn't freeze. She nudged celestial into. Trot so the filly could keep up. Lisa stopped celestial at an are where she could see the track. She dismounted and walked up to the fence

Gemma turns her head to Issac and switches her ears. The Kiger filly then takes the carrot and eats it.

Erin walked her to the barn and put Rebel on cross-ties. She opened the tack chest and pulled out a shiny new black racing saddle and the mares number. She set the saddle on her back and tightened the girth with the number under the saddle. (I'm not sure what the numbers on so make sense of this.) Erin then grabbed the bridle and put that on her. Tightening the throat latch before she checked her phone, she sighed and put it back in her pocket. She clipped a lead to one side of the bridle and tied her to her stall then dug through the chest, looking for racing boots her aunt got her. When she found then, she set them on the floor and pulled some jockey clothes out of her pack. She folded them neatly and set them in the chest before closing it and locking it. Erin checked her phone one more time for new texts, deciding it might be best if she turned it off while riding.
