(I don't use spurs and this "aggressive rider" thing is just an act for me.. I can't smack a horse if I'm trying to soak their hooves and they step forward. I can barely use a crop. By the way, the saddle is for balance purposes. The bridle, so we can have control over the horse a bit different than the halter. Bits are something I think unnecessary, though they are necessary when training a young horse. Also, riders bashing their horses on the head... Well, that's just those types of riders. I actually can barely kick a horse into a trot XD
Still, i's the rider that does that. The bond between horse and rider is sacred, though many people don't realize how precious it really is and just sy it is, though they don't realize they are taking the horse for granted. I realize what you mean, though it's just certain riders. I want to train horses, be a jockey, and many more horse jobs. I want to own a giant barn that I train horses at, and I would try to rely on my instincts like I always do. No whips, unless a lunging whip which actually doesn't harm the horse in any way, crops, or anything that could be used to harm an animal. Of course, I might use soft bits and occasionally spurs, but that's just so the horse wouldn't get hurt, but still pay attention.. Some people don't even have to use tack and I want to be one of those riders someday.
ANYWAYS THIS IS A LONG POST JUST OUT OF CHARACTER... HOPEFULLY IT MAKES SENSE, CONSIDERING THE TIME I TOOK TO WRIT IT WITH A BRAIN THAT DOES NOT FEEL LIKE WORKING!)
