(I'm against the racing, I'm not against the speed of the horse... A horse is only as fast as it can be, nothing to do with the rider, excluding training etc for fitness)

{I'm against forcing horses to compete in a competition for speed. Especially with whips/crops. Like. A horse can only go so far, for so long. Done. Like it's cruelty to push them past thier limit.}

(Yeah, I'm against whips etcetera.. I've sworn to never, no matter the horse or situation to use a whip. Because there's always a different way)

(Well actually it's the rider that does that. It's also the trainer and owners fault. I personally want to be a jockey someday, though I would never use a whip, like how I can't right now because I just fail at it and instead just poke the horse XD
I would like to become a jockey someday so I can know how much a trained racehorse really wants to race.. Really, in horse racing the only abuse is the whips.. My instructor forces me to use a crop, and I really HATE it! I mean, seriously? I rode a green broke, totally unexperienced and ALMOST fully controlled him WITHOUT a whip. I wasn't using spurs either and that arabian almost threw me over a fence!)
(ANYWAYS, Kai should know Lobo the husky that looks like a wolf is laying down where Ryce was sitting, watching her.)
Lobo kept wagging his tail slightly, watching Kai.

(Oh no I mean, I'll explain, I went to a competition to photograph showjumpers, and I saw the most horrific things. I saw riders bashing their horses over the heads, making them headshy. Then you see a similar situation, more bashing BECAUSE they say the horse is headshy... It's a man made problem you see.

We have all these gadgets like spurs and whips, bits and bridles and saddles to become in control of the horse. I think EVERYTHING is a load of horse poo... We do not need it, but we as humans fear losing control.)

(I don't use spurs and this "aggressive rider" thing is just an act for me.. I can't smack a horse if I'm trying to soak their hooves and they step forward. I can barely use a crop. By the way, the saddle is for balance purposes. The bridle, so we can have control over the horse a bit different than the halter. Bits are something I think unnecessary, though they are necessary when training a young horse. Also, riders bashing their horses on the head... Well, that's just those types of riders. I actually can barely kick a horse into a trot XD
Still, i's the rider that does that. The bond between horse and rider is sacred, though many people don't realize how precious it really is and just sy it is, though they don't realize they are taking the horse for granted. I realize what you mean, though it's just certain riders. I want to train horses, be a jockey, and many more horse jobs. I want to own a giant barn that I train horses at, and I would try to rely on my instincts like I always do. No whips, unless a lunging whip which actually doesn't harm the horse in any way, crops, or anything that could be used to harm an animal. Of course, I might use soft bits and occasionally spurs, but that's just so the horse wouldn't get hurt, but still pay attention.. Some people don't even have to use tack and I want to be one of those riders someday.
ANYWAYS THIS IS A LONG POST JUST OUT OF CHARACTER... HOPEFULLY IT MAKES SENSE, CONSIDERING THE TIME I TOOK TO WRIT IT WITH A BRAIN THAT DOES NOT FEEL LIKE WORKING!)

(Yeah, you sound very similar to me. I've been forced to use a whip, being taught by a showing trainer before I switched to more natural solutions and liberty. I've done track work with young thoroughbreds who haven't done any racing and I never use a whip, no matter what people say there's always another way to make a horse quicker without force...

I absolutely hate showing now, and I do use a bit if I ride out to far, but I usually ride Bitless or Tackless completely with every horse I've had. If I get bucked off, I get back on. I had an accident where the horse freaked by total accident (possible snake) and flipped back onto me. I got back on despite a spinal injury and kept riding. If you let a horse win, they will almost never stop trying to put it over the rider. That's just from what I've learnt from the horse. Not another rider.)

(Let's roleplay ? My filly needs training :))

(I've gotta go to bed but I would like to share this piece of information with all of you:
Black Caviar may or may not be inbred. Vain, the great grand-sire on her sires side is also the great great grand-sire on her dams side. I really can't believe I found this.)

(A lot of race horses these days are sadly inbred, not usually through parents, but grandparents yes.)

(Someday, I'm going to have a breeding stable where I breed paints, qhs, tbs, and a lot more breeds but not too much and I will release more non inbred TBs again! Also, I will try to stop the bad legacy Impressive left.. He was a famous quarter horse that had a disease that caused him to muscle over something.. I'll find you guys some more info.. I can't leave yet due to my adoptable so I might not reply that fast..)
