*History*- Sky had a pretty rough childhood, his father died when he was 6 and his mother had bad health problem, she remarried to another man named Walter, he accepted Sky as his own son and raised him as his own son. When Sky was finishing primary school his mother’s condition took a turn for the worst and they had to move out to the country with a doctor because he believed the fresh air of the country would help her. Sky was home schooled from then on, his step father was worried that Sky was getting to bored since he didn’t have any friends to play with anymore, he looked around the estate one day and found an old stable building and it got him thinking, so on Sky’s 13th birthday he took Sky to a horse auction and bought Sky his first horse, some tack, hired a stable hand, some riding lessons and other horse necessities. Sky learnt how to ride his horse, care for his horse and even compete with his horse. When Sky finished school he parted ways with his mother and step father but kept in contact with them. He travelled around for a bit before settling down at a boarding stable to work. He saved up his money and bought Golden Wings. The owner of the boarding stables let him keep Wings at the stables for a small fee. One day there was a sudden storm, all the horses were out in the paddocks and the fence between Wing’s paddock and a mares paddock got knocked down and Shimmer Star was created. Sky said he would take full responsibility for the foal and that’s just what he did. There wasn’t enough space at the stables for another fully grown horse so once the Shimmer Star got old enough Sky moved elsewhere with the horses.
