I huff gently and pull away from Denali. Softly, I nip her and canter a few paces. I nicker as if to say "you're it!" And buck happily, goading her into a game of tag.

I stop, wondering if the stallion was alone. I can't tell, because he hasn't made a move towards me yet. Normally, a stallion looking for a mare would seek her out, not the other way around...right?
I sigh and stop, grazing just to make him think he should be trying to gain me.

I prick my ears and hear the whinny of a mare. She is close. I turn to her and neigh back. She looks very wild, and I gallop to her, thinking she would be used to a sudden and violent approach. I skid next to her. Ears forward and eyes curious.

[derision]

Asia snorted calmly, nickering to Archer. The mare nudged his neck, sniffing him. Ears pricked, she waited for a reply, tail flicking.

I put my ears back, again surprised by the quick approach. I rumble and nudge her back. "I'm Archer." I say, ears forward once again.

[derision]

Asia bowed down almost, in respect. Left knee almost touching the ground, and right foot leaning down, back legs upright, Asia said, "I am Asia."

Denali's ears shot up and her eyes brightened as Looking Glass cantered a short ways away. She knew what this meant even before he nickered - it was time for some fun! It may have seemed like foal behaviour, but the act of chasing Glass and being chased down in a game of friendly tag was one of her favourite things to do. Just as soon as he bucked, she let out an excited whinny. Her hooves dug into the soft earth and she began to canter after Glass, heart light and mane flowing.

I laugh and push off my hocks, driving down into the earth and springing up in a faint arc. I gallop quickly across the land, making sure to check my pace and stay with Denali. I can feel my heart hammering away and smile. I wonder if there is no difference between muscle and thought in this world.
A heart pumps the blood through your veins, but the thought is the producer of love and tender action.
In this world, the two are the same. The muscle pumps blood, but serves as an organ of natural love. It powers you through till death. And I think a vital need in this world is love.

I snort and lower my head to hers, trying to replicate her bow. It's feeble at best, but I smile. "That is a beautiful name." I say, and I mean it. I haven't heard that before. I softly nudge her cheek, this mare is beautiful.

•Alpa Akuti, which means "Little Princess". This horse doesn't know why her parents called her this, but, it is her name and she likes it. Most call her Lil' Lady, but her real nickname is Alpa or Akuti.•

•She is 13 and is a mare.•

•This mare stands about 15.9 hands, and weighs about 1045 pounds. She has a dark bay coat, with light sky blue eyes. Her hind quarters is speckled with white snowflake looking spots, and she has a blaze the covers her whole nose and goes all the way up her to her ears.•



•She is a lone mare, but hopes to be a lead mare. Or just some stallion's "everything".•

•This mare was once domesticated, but escaped at a age of two years old. The mare was still young, but the rest of her years she was a loner and learned a lot about the wild. Alpa is actually quite happy to tell her backstory to any curious horse.•

•She has no crush, mate or foal(s).•

•This mare is quite serious, but not in a mean way. She is sometimes stubborn and can be a bit of a b****. Alpa is always ready to learn more or listen to somebody. She, is actually blind, but it doesn't stop her from being herself.•
