Tobias
Tobias smiled somewhat reassuringly back at her, watching her as her smile faded. He looked down to Sunni's mane, his mind flooding with thoughts of possibilities of what was bothering Makezi. "Look, if you don't turn that frown upside down, I'll make you," he said in a falsely threatening voice.
Ashleigh
Ashleigh laughed quietly, giving German a pat. He seemed to have accepted the fact that he wasn't going to get Ashleigh off of his back anytime soon; he had perked up at the sound of Luke's voice, though. "I like this saddle," she said as she shifted around in it. "It's comfy." She laughed at her own bad joke and slid her feet from the stirrup irons. Even though the dressage saddle didn't have a big, chunky fender bounding her legs down, Ash still felt freed up when her feet came out of the stirrups. "Yeah, he's a little hot today," she answered at last, giving him a small tap of her heels, which sent him jolting forward into a head-bobbing walk. "You aren't gonna make me do any dressage today, are you? Because I can assure you that I haven't done that since I was probably 5, so it won't work out too well," she explained quickly.
