He exhaled, in relief as she changed their awkward conversation. It wasn't quite appropriate to talk about your ex whilst your on a date with someone else. "Sorry" he spoke softly, "I'm not trying to shrug you off, it's just it's awkward talking about my physco ex. You know?" He laughed awkwardly"--German? My smexy boy! Haha yeah I raised him from a young colt. I bought him broken in and then I trained him up. What about you? How long have you owned the business, well owning/ running I guess?. After a short wait, their meals came. Slowly, he menouveoured through the bones of his wings to get to the juicy chicken meat.

I shake my head, holding a hand up. "No, it's seriously okay," I tell him. "I wouldn't want to be in your shoes..." I wave that bad thought away and go back to our normal conversation. As usual, Luke's odd way of speaking leaves me with a smile. I've never heard a horse be called 'smexy' before. Besides that, though, I thought it was nice that he'd raised German since he was so young. "That was how I got Rebel and Jazzy," I tell him. "I brought home these small little three year olds and worked them up to the hot shots they are now." I laugh as I recall a few particularly bad falls, mainly off of Rebel, then some horrible attitude that I'd recieved from Jazzy. It was good to know that little baby Jazzy was going off to be some Grand Prix jumper or what not. "Anyways, it's sort of been mine since I was born," I tell Luke with a short laugh. "It was my father's intentions to pass it down to his children, and that would be yours truly. Besides that, though, I've been working on it ever since I was born, practically."
