I frowned very slightly as he said he would go. Of course, I wasn't one to be clingy, but I really didn't want to be left alone with Dylan and Decoda. I sighed and stroked Rebel's nose carefully and thoughtfully. "If you're leaving, then I guess I'll be seeing you again at around 5:00, then?" I asked curiously. I was looking forward to going over to Luke's place. Of course we were just friends, but I'd been wondering what his father was like ever since the previous night. He had to have been a wise man, considering the piece of advice I'd been given from the man.

"Ok, bye. If you need me... be sure to call me" he offered, starring Dylan down as he got in his Dodge. Luke placed his shades over his head and adverted his gaze back to the steering wheel as he reversed out. Down the street was the pet store. A small country shack with an orange color bond roof. In the window was a bunch off small baby kitten, just a few weeks old. He assumed that his nan would want a low maintenance cat, something she didn't have to worry about having to brush 4 times a day. In the opposite window was a small white Persian cat. Luke pulled out his phone and sent a picture to Ash 'Meet Priss' he sent in the caption. The cat was a dainty little thing, prissy and all. He walked into the store and purchased the kitten, as well as a bag of cat food, cat litter tray and a bed. He carried his new purchases out to the car and drove home to go get changed. He placed Priss in his bedroom to rest on the bed he'd bought her. Instantaneously the kitten curled into a ball and slept.

In the back of Lukes cupboard hung a black, red and white suit. He pulled it out and hung it up on the hook in his bathroom, straightening it out as he placed it gently against the wall. 'Oh crap, I better go clean my dodge, I almost forgot. Dam it!!" he yelled to himself. Luke poured Priss a bowl of food and a saucer of water before racing down the stairs and to his car. He drove it over to the towns local car wash "a quick vacuum and a scrub up, and she will look like new!" he imagined through his head. To be honest it was still a farely new car, it was only about a year old.

I looked up from the bucket I was scrubbing as my phone vibrating, letting me know I had a text. I set the brush down and wiped a stray hair from my face, unlocking the phone. I laughed at what I saw. "Way to go Luke, perfect cat for an old woman," I mumbled with a small smile. I wiped my wet hands off on my shirt as I made a realization— I had no idea what to wear. I hated it when this sort of thing happened, and it wouldn't have been the first either. My fingers flew as I typed 'casual or formal?' That was maybe one of the downsides to being a girl. Of course, boys never understood and thought that you simply obsessed over those types of things. But show up at a formal party in jeans, and you will be the most embarrassed person out there. I got back to work, finishing up my final bucket. It probably would've been a good idea to get ready. I put the supplies back up in the tack room before making my way to the house, getting on the shower quickly.

Lucas, quickly cleaned through his car, hovering up all the mud and dirt that been trailed through his car. *beep beep* his phone vibrated, it was Ash. He smiled at her remark before typing back in response to her question. 'it not like super Hollywood fancy but its rather a formal event so I don't know up to you?' he texted back. Luke wasn't great with opinions or giving the best advice when it came to fashion. He was usually the one getting the opinions off others. After a vacuum through his car he pulled further up to the washing bay. He gave the car a good hose done, followed by; a scrub with suds, anther hose, tire cleaning brush and a hot wax coating. "Fresh and clean, like brand new!" he stated before rushing back home. He quickly checked on Priss before hoping into the shower. After a good scrub down he leaped from the shower the mirror. He shaved, put after shave and deodorant on followed by a touch of perfume. He combed his hair back and leapt out of the bathroom to polish up his formal dress shoes. The wooden clock that hung down star in the kitchen rang, echoing through the whole house with a delicate tune, indicating that is was 4:30pm. Dylan finished polishing off his shoes before leaping into his suit. He looked rather flashy he had to admit.....

Dylan scratched Jazzy gently behind her right ear, the mares tail swishing every second or so caused by the pesky flies that sticky Summer morning. He stopped scratching the aggravated mare for a moment, his hand leaving her soft fur as it reached over for the large white and yellow spray bottle labeled 'Fly Spray'. Pressing down on the handle, a large mist of the buckskins savior spread across her right side, warding off the pesky flies that were once alive, now lying dead on the clean sawdust if her stall. "Sorry love but theirs a Starbuck's down the road and that frapaccino has my name written all over it," He informed with mare with the slightest of grins. Exiting the mares stall, Dylan closed it and locked it behind him while checking the time on his phone. Once Dylan realized it was already about 5 he headed out the door, walking towards his house.

Dylan left his house wearing a dark blue t-shirt, black leather jacket, black jeans, matching vans and a black beanie. He slid on his favorite pair of black ray-bands and pulled his keys out, unlocking the Ford and sliding in. Roaring the engine, Dylan swerved out of the drive way of Stormy Stables and took of down the road. 'What is their to do around here on a Friday night?' He wondered to himself boredly with a small yawn.

After he had bought his mocha frappacino, Dylan slipped back into his pickup. Obviously Dylan wasn't old enough to be allowed in a bar yet and he was sure as hell their were no clubs around this part of town. Dylan finally parked the truck coming to a conclusion. It wasn't much of a downtown to walk around in but hey, it was something to do. Dylan strided quietly from block to block, his icy optics gazing around the surrounding area. All that was in sight were a couple groups of teenagers and a wad of drunk guys screaming something outside the bar. He laughed quietly to himself then averted his amused gaze, now searching for some action. Dylan knew fighting was wrong, his father had taught him that. Although he knew it was wrong Dylan had grown up with it on the streets of New York, he hadn't lived in a nice and safe town like this until his father got a promotion and moved to Texas for his job. Besides, how else would Dylan blow off steam? He spotted no one but the drunk guys, he could probably take on one or two of them but their were at least 5. 'Screw it, I can take them,' He thought to himself, what did he have to loose anyway, the five dollar bill in his pocket? Dylan never brought his wallet out at night for a reason.
