Milain shook out his mane, twisting his neck leasurly. He lowered his head and began to walk, the golden stalks of the grass licking at his muzzle. A smile creeped over his mouth as he spotted the rest of what herd that he belonged to, stoping to observe. Milain set out a shrilling whinney, stomping a front hoof and tossing his wedge-like head, white hair bouncing and floating around his deep amber eyes. As he observed the herd, the tree line behind him shuffled, leaves wrestling in the soft wind. All of a sudden, his nostrils flared and his mind was caught elsewhere.
Milain flicked his ears, moving into a trot. His movements were fluid, minimum bounce. As he approached the others, he arched his neck and raised his head high, showing off his thick muscle line.

Onixx let her nose rest against the dewey grass stalks, her body a hump on the earth as she lied still. Her tail only flicked twice as her ears relaxed. She heard the herd off in the distance, and she wondered if they needed her for anything, or was wondering where she was. That thought faded quickly as she stood and stretched her body, letting out a sigh of comfort. Her expressional eyes batted gently.
The small creek, flowing over a series of flat slate, soared wildly as she approached it. The thin shrubbery that bordered this creek was casted in shade, opening it's arms to the warm mare. Onixx smiled only faintly as she lowered her head to drink, two front hooves getting soaked in the chilling liquid. Her tail flicked as she went in deeper, cooling herself before her long day.
She didn't bother to whinney or neigh, figuring the herd would come to get her if they were going to move soon. Her eyes turned warm and relaxed as she had the moments to follow by herself, all alone, the way she wanted. Her mind couldn't help wondering what it would feel to share this moment, though.
