Athena takes a couple steps forward too hungry not to eat the cube. She tickled the girls hands with her lips, taking the cube. Then taking a few steps back to chew it while keeping her eyes on the human. Athena nickered softly wondering if there were more.

I smile and hold another out to her. "You have to let me touch you this time, okay? I won't hurt you, girl. I promise," I smile softly and look over her with my eye, still staying where I am, not wanting to spook her.

Athena stands still letting Emilee examine her. She started feeling a little nervous but she could already tell she was not going to harm her since the girl was giving her yummy treats.

I slowly rise to my feet and touch my hand lightly to the mare's neck. I run my hand softly over her neck and shoulder before offering her another sugar cube. She is thin, but her belly is round. I have an idea why, but I highly doubt I am right.

Athena flinches slightly when the girl touches her neck. But then relaxed when she was rewarded with another treat. She then felt the girl touch her belly, she side stepped away from the girl not wanting her to harm the baby even though it was not even born yet.

I find my tack then go over to Xena's stall and set the bridle on a hook on the stall door where my halter and lead was also hanging then I put my saddle,saddle pad,and girth on the top of the door and walked in to where Xena was.I took her out of her stall then tied her to one of the metal rails and started cleaning her stall out,giving her hay before I started

I sniff the new tack,standing there,munching on hay.I once lived on the side of the road and now I have the best home I could ever ask for.I was very happy here,although,I had no friends.No body was like me,so I just waited for someone to come and talk to me instead of me going to talk to them and me getting picked on.I snorted then looked towards Denny and Malykia.I tilted my head to the side.I looked towards Mandy.I knew she had just started high school and all she did was groom,feed,water and clean my stall out.She must have gotten in a relationship to make her forget about me.

she seen a human exit the house and come towards her with a whip she looked around but she was cornered she started to whinny already feeling the pain that was to happen to her she closed her eyes as tight as she could and shivered as the human got closer and hit me I reared up spooked because I thought he left and ran jumping over him but tripping immeditly after I landed because of my slipperfoot problem

a car drove past just as the human lifted his whip

a call is made to the stable

the abusers abandon me a few hours later and never come back
