Devil watched the two younger stallions carefully, her ears flattened against her head. She wasn't really interested in them, but she decided to introduce herself anyways. These two were young, and didn't seem to be too much of a threat. "I'm Devil." She stated simply, then glanced to the yearling beside. "That's Lucina." She then turned back to the two, frowning as she spoke "What do you want?"

Sand shrugged "Well just looking for others horses to be around." He said with a light smile. Bently lowered his head to graze not getting into the conversastion.

[Over the Moon]

Doe:
Doe was starting to lose; she could tell. She nudged Moon. "Go. I'll distract him." She whispered to the younger mare. She turned back to Gator. "No, but apparently that's yours." She retorted. "A lovestruck yearling is way better than you. At least he would protect his mare, not chase her through a forest till she falls and hurts her ankle. No wonder you don't have any mares. If you treat all of them like this, I'm not surprised at all."

Sun looked up at the new comer. She let out a soft nicker and grunted as she stretched her head out to get a good sniff of her. She assumed that sanguine would let the mare stay considering she was friendly, and well, a mare. She let out another soft rumble, before returning to munching on the grass before her.

The mare, whom was starting to get a little scared, looked at Doe and nodded. Moon turned and moved away from Gator and Doe, going a bit slow because of her injured hoof. It didn't hurt much anymore and she could put alittle weight on it.

caribou gave a bellow of pain as he heard some hatching in his leg snap. he let go of pride's forelock and stumbled backwards, narrowly missing phantom. he reared, lashing out again with his hooves and landing hard, very angry. caribou pressed his ears into his skull, nostrils flaring furiously. he smashed on sharp hoof against the ground and snorted, cantering forward and ramming into pride once again.

Devil just huffed and lowered her head to graze, her dark tail lashing as she grazed and ignored the two stallions. Lucina glanced to her mother then back to Bentley and Sandstorm, ears pricked as she watched the two curiously.

Once his forelock was free, Pride quickly raised his head and backed away to avoid Caribou's hooves. He wasn't able to avoid everything though, and when Caribou lashed out with his hooves they managed to hit and cut into Pride's cheek. A small cut was now on his chestnut and white face, a trickle of blood flowing from the small wound. When the bay stallion suddenly rammed into him, Pride stumbled back and let out a huff, nearly collapsing but he managed to regain his balance. He was panting slightly now, which meant that Caribou must be growing tired as well. He wasn't going to back down, he was going to get Phantom. The stallion shook out his mane and moved closer to Caribou, rearing up and when he began to lower himself to the ground he reached out and aggressively bit at the stallion's neck.

caribou was tired alright, but years of endless competitive Grand Prix level dressage training and events taught him to ignore it. with his head jerked to his chest, spittle flicking his dark hide, and a bit and reins pressing into his mouth, simply running and biting was nothing. he would tire a lot slower than pride would, and he knew this. ultimately, caribou had the upper hand. sometimes, experience has nothing to do with these fights.
caribou shared the same mind set as pride however, he was going to get phantom. pride's bite connected, and the huge bay responded by bringing a knee up into pride's neck, hopefully making its mark. he twisted, trying to free his skin of pride's jaws.
