Koda kept on running, racing after Kito. Boy, was she fast. He wasn't really aware of when he started running; maybe some minutes ago, maybe hours, maybe he just started. It clouded his mind, or perhaps cleared it. Running was the comforting feeling of being free, something he only found in strange places and in small doses. Usually didn't last long, but when it happened, it felt like forever. And that was amazing, everything about it was. The wind through his fur, his paws thumping on the ground. The only sound he was aware of was the quickly paced beating of his heart. It was all so relaxing, even if he was running as quickly as he could. He reflected for a moment on the fact that Kito was no longer in front of him, but didn't dare look back to see if she'd fallen behind. He wasn't aware of when he'd passed her, nor did he think he was ever going to. And he really didn't care if he did. Even if it was a competition, he didn't think either of them could win or lose. It was too much fun for that. As the river came into view, he started to slow down, but it wasn't in time. He splashed right into the water, going nearly completely under as soon as he hit it. He perked his white, soaking wet head up out of the water after a few seconds, letting out a cheerful laugh and then shaking the water off of his coat.

Roxie yawned once more, shaking dirt from her fur as she padded off from the junkyard. She looked around, pausing for a moment as she saw nobody worthy of conversation or worthy of her attention. Turning her head the other direction, the young female jumped up a large pile of boxes, garbage and waste, then sailed over the gate surrounding the junkyard and landing (nearly) on her paws. Shaking off the slightly painful fall, she once again shook the pesky filth from her black coat and then looked each way, minding any humans near by. She started on a walk, not really knowing where she was going but decided perhaps she could find something to do, since she was sure the Alpha and Beta had things handled in the pack, and fights hadn't broken out in a while, so she wouldn't be needed.

Kito began to slow when the river neared, she watched with a wide grin on her muzzle when Koda got there first, and had splashed into the water. She stood at the bank, her toes dipped in the water, laughing. She then sprang into the river, sending water flying in all directions, but mostly she tried to aim it at Koda playfully. She pushed herself into deeper water where she could then disappear under the surface, her eyes piercing through the blur of the current. She gasped for air when she surfaced, a big smile across her face. She paddled in a circle, her paws moving like propellers to push herself through the water. Her gray-black-white mixed coat hung down by the weight of water, dribbles fell from her pointed ears.

Tiger began heading back to his pizza box when that pretty female caught his eye again. He had seen her only once before but took a liking to her striking coat and wondered what she was like. He noticed she seemed to just be talking a walk or something, and decided to approach. His tail was between high and low, enough to show he wasn't there for a fight but not submitting to her. At first he stood a moment with a good distance between them, then spoke up. "Hello." He said, his voice calm but with his signature unique roughness to it. He lowered his head by the slightest bit and tipped it to the side, wanting to show he could be friendly. He wondered if she had something to do and was worried she might just walk away. Though Tiger had no idea how she would react, he wanted to get to know her a bit. He patiently waited for her response, time had no affect on him at the moment, he was lost as he gazed at her.

Bacia (Bay-See-Uh)

Gender and Breed: Bacia is a female Presa Canario.
Age: She's five years old.
Background: Bacia was bred for fighting. Though it's a disgusting pass time, humans will be humans. Both of her parents were prized fighters, winning their owner loads of cash. As is the way of fighting dogs, they were put down once their usefulness ran out.
Bacia followed in her parents footsteps, winning her owner many fights. Until one fight against a large male Rottweiler, she lost an eye and almost her life. She was still young and had a lot of life in her, so rather than put her down, the man sold her to another man that owned a junkyard to be used as a guard dog.
The man let her loose in the yard. All she had to do was keep other humans out. Easy job. Over time, her disposition settled a bit. She no longer attacked other dogs on sight, although she still avoided them as much as possible.
Things went on like this for some time, and then the junk yard man chained up the front gate and left. She hasn't seen him since. Bacia had to fend for herself. The holes in the gate; she made them. The strategic sleeping places; she made them. The holes in the buildings; she made them. She sleeps in the junkyard mans house, letting herself in and out through a hole in the door.
Now, on her own, she continued doing her job, keeping humans out of the junk yard until the junkyard man returned.
General Disposition: Bacia keeps to herself. She's not talkative. She's not friendly. However, if you leave her be, she'll leave you be. Be careful not to approach her on her left side. Due to missing her left eye, she gets edgy and bitey when approached on her left. Bacia sees other dogs as being beneath her. They all have some sort of flaw. It takes quite a bit to catch her attention. At least she assumes so. No one has impressed her yet.

Bacia-Presa Canario-Female-5 years old

Bacia rested in a patch of sun on the front porch of the Junkyard Man's house. It was in the center of acres and acres of old, dead cars. A long dirt path led from the house to the chained front gates. She stared down that path now.
Every day she waited for the Junkyard Man to return. She had come to like the old man. He had fed her, kept her clean and flea free, and had often let her sleep in the house with him. He had been gone for some time now. One day the phone rang and he had grabbed his hat and left shortly after. He must have been gone for months now. Whether or not he was here, Bacia would do her job. No human would set foot in the junkyard until the Junkyard Man returned.
Rising, she crawled through the hole that she'd made in the front door. The Junkyard Man would probably be upset about this hole, but he would forgive her, she thought. Once inside, she pawed open one of the lower cupboards and took a mouthful of dry dog food into her maw. She chewed, swallowed, and took another. This bag was almost empty, but there was another behind it. Staying fed wouldn't be a problem for a short while, but after that she'd have to find her own food.
Luckily water was plentiful. Around the side of the house a faucet dripped steadily into a large metal trough. Bacia found her way there now, lapping up the cool liquid with her large pink tongue. Once finished, she loped at a steady pace around the various vehicles, scenting for humans. Here and there she'd catch the scent of a dog. Most of them were familiar, but a few new scents were mixed in.
The Presa Canario didn't mind if the other dogs were taking up residence for now. The Junkyard Man might make them leave when he returned, but for now they could stay. She had no problems with them as long as they kept their distance and stayed out of the main house.

♥ Morgianne nodded, sniffing the air. Interesting scent spread trough tunnel, so she followed it. At the end of the tunnel a tiniest bit of daylight appeared and brightened whole scene. Low door were placed close to them, so Morgianne turned her head toward unknown secret hidden behind the door. "Should we explore?" She asked Jake, pointing with her muzzle toward the door.
In short period when she lived with humans, Morgianne was taught to open the door and close them. That were pleasant times. Right now she had to do her best to find even smallest piece of miserable meal to stop growling in her tummy. Luckily, some people left piece of pizza. Yummy. Who knows is there any food in here? So many things to find and explore. Morgianne's curiousity was pleased.

Jake watched in curiosity as Morgianne inspected the door. He grinned to her, nodding as he approached the thing, sniffing. It held many strange smells that were new to the pup, he skimmed the door with his nose, getting a closer whiff. His eyes barely glinted with the little light that seeped through, and he ducked his head to sniff the musky floors of this mysterious place. His nose invaded a spider web which tickled his snout, making him feel a sneeze coming. He quickly turned away from his friend, then was forced by the weird sensation on his nose to sneeze, avoiding Morgianne so he wouldn't disgustingly blow spit on her. His breaths returned to their normal pace and he shook his head to rid himself of the silky lines, messily destroyed on the tip of his nose. He pressed his tail between his legs in slight embarrassment, hoping she didn't think of him badly, and also hoped that nothing had heard him. What if there was something living on the other side of the door? Would they find them? He hoped he hadn't given themselves away if there was a being nearby.

♥ Morgianne smiled as she saw Jake having troubles with spider web, but one quiet 'shhh' escaped trough her throat. She looked down at her paws, hoping that she didn't sound' rude. "Um... sorry, I didn't wanted to say that, I know that you can't controll yourself." Morgianne took deep breath and opened the door. Her eyes landed on something amazing... Something different.
