Roxie wrote:"Love is more than a little overrated. I don't really bother with it."

Mate: Same as above, she doesn't have her eye on anybody.
Roxie wrote:"I don't believe anyone's past should be a secret. The past is the past and it's done and over with, no point in hiding it. After all, it'll be harder to explain it when it comes back to bite you in the tail someday than if you explained it before."
History: Roxie was born in a cold December morning, out in the snow by the corner of the barn. The only things keeping the pups warm was their mother, curled beside them as they nursed. Roxie was the first to be born, therefore making her the oldest of her litter and of any siblings she'd have afterwards, since it was Rosie's first litter of puppies. Roxie was always a strong puppy, she never had trouble nursing or pushing her fellow pups out of her way when she wanted something. She lived by her mother's side for many months, playing and frolicking with her siblings in the meadows and fields and around the other animals in the farm. She was a trouble-maker as a pup, always getting everybody sent to bed early or scolded for slipping into the cellar and getting into jars of jam or baskets of fruits or even the other animal's food. When she was of age, an older man came over looking to buy her. Her other siblings had been getting picked off one-by-one, all except for her since her owner had been telling everyone what a trouble maker she was. But this man was different, and seemed charmed by the hyper little puppy. he took her home, wrapped a bow around her and stuck her in a gift box, which he gave to his daughter the same night. His daughter never really liked Roxie, saying she was too big and she got into things and that she wanted a lap dog instead. So, reluctantly, the girl's father sold off Roxie, to a young boy about fifteen at the time. Roxie was only about one at the time, and he was the person to dub her with her name which has stuck to her since then. He was the perfect owner, and the two loved each other more than anything in the world. She'd sleep by his side every night, and they'd always go for walks and play. But one day, he decided to leave for college, leaving Roxie with only his parents as company. She became depressed that he'd left her, so she left in search of him, but came up short. So then she became a stray, toughening herself up so she could survive being without humans.
Roxie wrote:"My personality? Can't you tell by just speaking to me? I'm not even sure how to explain it..."
Personality: Roxie has an intimidating aura around her, causing most to sort of avoid her since they don't want to start anything. She may look like an aggressive, strong and powerful dog, but she's really quite mellow. She will, of course, be aggressive when the need arises for it, but she's usually quiet and calm and, in general, friendly to most other dogs. She gets easily irritated sometimes, and what triggers her irritation will vary regularly, but it's not impossible to get her mad. That would be far from the truth to say it wasn't, really. She doesn't attack unless provoked, except to get in the middle of a fight, since it is her job. She will not inflict pain on anyone else unless completely necessary, no matter the consequences. Roxie can be rather sarcastic, sometimes forgetting the others have feelings that can be hurt. She often acts responsible, and is loyal and sincere. If you respect her, she will respect you, and will never abandon you or leave your side.
