Blossom's Barbie

Barbie stared quietly. She didn't appreciate the dodgy answer. Because when I am in a herd, I feel out of place. she felt like saying, but she stayed quiet. With other horses, she was strangely quiet, and spoke queerly, so no one really knew where to put her, she didn't really fit in anywhere either, so she just did a one man show. "I don't know." She answered, giving a vague answer for the dodgy question.

He nodded. "You.. don't have to" He replied slowly and looked at the dirt before back at the pretty mare. He stepped away a minute, though she may not mean it, he felt... some what, unwanted. He bowed his head. "I'm sorry to have disturbed you" He said quickly and turned away. He wanted her... but he didn't want to pressure her... Had he done something previously that he just hadn't picked up on? He shrugged and glanced back at her with a flick of his tail, the chesnut welsh shook out his mane.

(Then Barbie might not follow, she needs at least a semi confident male. Well, basically she needs everything, but in moderation.)

Blossom's Barbie

Barbie perked up her ears. What did he mean? The pretty chestnut was confused. Again. The angsty arabian pawed the ground, frustrated at how confusing he was being. He seemed almost sad. When he turned away though, she perked her ears, finally understanding that he had been subtly asking her to join his herd. Oh. Realising she might have been unconsciously harsh, she pawed the ground once more, before turning as well and trotting away. She had enough of being confused for a day.

(Don't worry, she's not mad, just kinda confused. When I said in my form she's a lot of work, I meant it, lol.)

He swished his tail and flicked his ears pack as barbie took off. he stopped and looked back a minute before huffing. "Stupid stupid stupid!" he growled at himself and then lowered his head and grazed with a huff... Why was he so.... stupid? why did he always have to feel unwanted... Why couldn't he just stay and feel further unwanted.. maybe he would have actually got her in his herd... He huffed yet again and grazed at the rather not so yummy grass.

Blossom's Barbie

When away from the complexities of another living being, Barbie felt a pang of loneliness and relief toil in her. It was too mysterious, having an actual thinking being near her that might do something she wouldn't expect. And yet she had liked it. He hadn't followed though, so she shrugged, taking a bite before moving toward the mountains again, which she had appointed her home.

His ears flicked but he didn't follow, instead he stayed. He swished his tail and let out a loud whinny.. He liked barbie, and wished she had been... easier, but mares weren't all easy. he growled at that, why were they so.. confusing.. why was he so confusing.. He growled at himself but he then re-did his whinny calling for any mares in the area... Loneliness hit him but he hissed mentally at that expecting it to leave like normal but it stayed. He huffed gently and lowered his head and took a small mouthful of sparse grass.

Blossom's Barbie

Going up the mountain she did with ease. She'd been like that for a long while, she supposed. She sighed, looking behind her. It seemed that stallion had given up. She hadn't made much of an impact, then. Shrugging, she travelled higher, having grazed at the base of the mountain already. She went to the midpoint, where she searched for some grass. Hearing a familiar whinny, she perked her ears, before smiling almost reluctantly to herself. She knew it. She was less than a mare. The arabian quietly swished her tail, before continuing to graze as she drove out her negative thoughts, which were getting annoying.

At no reply he shrugged. He looked to where Barbie had gone up.. 'come on.. she's just a mare! there's more out there!' a voice inside him seem to argue with him "No! she's one heck of a mare.. And I don't want her to be upset with me... But.. I might feel better if she's not alone..." 'come on!... really!.. she's not even pret-' "Shut up!" He growled angrily and reared up. the voice seemed to laugh then leave. Ears pinned he then cantered up the mountain and then perked them to barbie. Once he reached her he spoke quickly. "I might feel unwanted quickly, but I didn't want to force you into anything... You were giving the impression you wanted nothing to do with a herd and i didn't want to push you... But I'd feel happier if you did join me, that way i would know you were safe from any snaking stallion or mountain lion or wolves or something alright and I don't want a mare who's going to do as i ask every time cause that's just weird.. I want one who will answer for herself and will make her own decisions and I feel your that mare.." He shut his mouth when he realized what he just said. However he didn't change his posture, he didn't back away, he stayed put and looked her in the eye's something he hadn't been able to do for quite a while.

Blossom's Barbie

Barbie munched quietly, before perking her ears as he came up once more. Now, she knew for sure he was talking to her. Though, she was a little shocked at what he said. The fragile mare looked at him quietly, though inside she was a little shocked. Truthfully, she had no idea she had been giving off such an impression, so now she felt a little abashed. She was also surprised at his words. What she was getting from this, was that he wanted her in his herd, because he wanted to protect her.

Part of her rebelled at that, she'd been fine by herself. Part of her found it sweet though, and she had been looking to settle down. He wanted her safe. As he stared into her eyes, she stared right back with her own hazel eyes, not saying anything. She walked towards the larger male quietly, and though still keeping her distance, planted herself behind the stallion, determination in her soft eyes. She didn't want to cause him trouble later.

(In case you are confused, her standing behind him is a 'Okay, I'm yours now.' Type statement.)

Raven waited for her to snap back and run off... but with in a blink, she was behind him as if to say 'okay, I'm yours now' and he was suprised but so much happier and felt more content and the thought that he was now aloud to keep her more than within his sights, but beside him. He turned around to face her and nickered gently in a slight 'thank you' he then went to her and nibbled her shoulder gently before stepping back a little and thinking a moment. 'yes, now you have a mare... what chu gonna do with her? take her away from the mountains? or keep her here..' He snorted softly at the words in his mind, though he made sure his snort sounded like a normal snort. He snorted gently and thought. "Do you prefer the mountains then?" He asked softly.
