Marrana nodded. "Yes..." She trailed off. Mother said that Saiko was to be considered her older sister, but Marrana had always had difficulty accepting this. Mother also said that it was importat because "being blood doesn't mean being family" as her mother often said, but she didn't understand what this meant.

Carletta returned a while later with a baby gazelle squirming in her grip, belting for its mother, who's lifeless form hid a bit of ways off in the grass. Its leg had been broken by Carletta earlier so that the girls would have a chane to chase it around. Marrana and Sarabi instantly stopped what they were doing and bounded over to their mother, squeaking in delight.

Chali looked at Carletta when she returned

Sanka "cool, lets get going then" he said then started walking in the direction he was originally going

chali flicked his tail again "Thats great, I think she was also going to try and teach Saiko how to hunt properly too since your mother is like a mother to Saiko" he said

Zook "It's been dry and hot here ever since our main source of water dried up, we don't get much prey here as a result of it and that's why the hyena's are such a menice in the surrounding territories" he replied

"Oh wow, you can come to my territory if you want. I can tell my father you're allowed." Kim grined politely.

Cherry pads aftrr him she pauses to roll in a mud puddle and continue walking

Carletta set the gazelle fawn down and pinned it down with her paw. She explained, "Now when I let this fawn go, you must chase after it, and kill it. Ok?"

Both cubs nodded enthusiastically, crouching down and unsheathing their claws, their eyes locked on the wiggling prey.
