Fedex then twitched his ears to a whinny that came from behind him,he lifted his head gently and gazed over his shoulder to the unfamiliar mare.he then gets up on all four and shook his silky smooth pure black mane,then sun covered a blanket over her chocolate like bay coat creating it to glimmer.He whinnies as well and walks over to the mare,he softly lifts her hooves while approaching her.His head was held high and his elegantly formed face lifted to the sky white he flicked his tail trying to avoid horse flies.He soon came to a halt and looks down to the mane and gives a warm smile "hello,how are you this fine evening?" he wasn't being flirtatious he just wanted to speak with someone his age once in a while.He stood their patiently waiting for a response to he thought,was a beautiful mare.


Sonora then nickers tossing her head back and forth creating her ruffled mane to slap against her neck,she then smiles warmly at both of them and says with excitement and curiosity in her eyes "why don't we all race,please please my brother is sleeping at the very moment!" she said prancing around once tossing her head while kicking her back legs happily in the air.She flicked her ears and then perked then high to the sky,she felt movement come from the forest it was strange.She gazed over to the forest and saw a small bunny lunge out of a berry bush.

Slate
with: midnight & sonora

He shifted his weight to the other leg and contemplated her request, not really feeling up to a run. But, Slate slowly came to realize that these were the first friendly horses he had seen in days, willing to talk, and not making jokes at him being a gelding. Slate finally sighed and nodded his head,"I will if Midnight races as well, and if you wait up." He added teasingly, his stocky grey build not much to show in front of the mustangs.

Midnight

She smiled, as she nodded." Nice to meet you to." She whinned softly, looking at the filly as she smiled. "Alright." She turned,stomping her hoof lightly.

Piper:

Her eyes slightly widened, not thinking he heard her and would wake up, shuffling from hoof to hoof, she smiled." Hello, and I'm well, and you? " She whinned, half-rearing, as her tail swatted away flies that bit at her back legs.

Sonora then smiled happily and pranced around "yea yea yea hehe thank you!" she then quickly trots elegantly over To midnight and nudges her playfully "please join us!" she said wagging her ruffled tail like a puppy before prancing around once more.she then pauses for a moment and rears up tossing her hooves around"yea!"she then gazes toward the mountains and felt a light bold go on in her head "oh yea lets race to the river!you have to sprint throughout the forest and we have to jump over those awesome broken down oak tree oo-oh yea and then make a left and then jump over the stream!" she said excitedly while her dark chocolate like eyes where filled with joy,she pressed her hoof into the ground backing slowly she created a muddy like line "we start here" she wiggled her rump and got in starting position.

Midnight

She smiled at the filly as she stood a couple of feet away to give her space,knowing the jumps around the forest, she was ready to run. She loved running, feeling the wind flowing through her mane.

Fedex then smiles a bit and says "I'm alright and thank you for asking" he said in a calm soothing voice like always.He then tilted his head a bit "so whats your name anyways,I'm Fedex" he said giving her a warm loving smile.He flicked his tail here and their trying to avoid a horse fly that kept landing on his rump.He stood their with his musculus tensing a bit before he shook his silky smooth mane.he thought in his head 'she seems quite interesting...maybe Sonora would like her as well'.

Piper

She smiled softly back, flicking her tail back and forth to knock away a couple of flies that were biting at her rump. "It's nice to meet you, Fedex. I'm Piper." She whinned softly, stomping her foot to stretch it abit.

Sonora then said while her eyes flashed in excitement "GO!" she began to gallop creating dust and bladed grass to fly into the two older horses face.The wind blew through her ruffled mane and she seemed as if she where flying,she was quite or you can say defiantly fast for a filly her age.She began to breathe quite heavy from her tiny nostrils,but then tossed her head back and forth happily.She lifted her peachy like muzzle to the sky and soon realized she was approaching the forest witch had a broken down;small oak tree.She then lunges over and lands on all four perfectly,bark and pine fell to the ground as well as dirt.

Midnight:

She laughed as the filly kicked to a gallop, half-rearing, she took off into a gallop using her stong muscles to gain alittle bit of extra speed, as she ran beside the filly, but slowling down a bit to wait for the geilding male gray.

Obediently, he stepped up to the line the filly had created and waited patiently for her to say go. The jumps he knew well, but jumping in particular was another story. The big gray huffed quietly but went along with it anyways, giving a small smile to the two before flicking his tail over his hindquarters, scaring away stray flies. He flicked his ears as Sonora and Midnight took off and cantered out after them, his tail streamlining back against the wind.
