Eclipse stared after August, not sure what to think. He had just almost killed another stallion for her, and now he was ignoring her. Then she shook herself. Stallions. "I'm going to talk to your sister!" She called after satisfying herself by slapping Diablo with her tail. Then she cantered towards the river. "I'm back!"

Gar galloped through the stream celebrating that August defeated Diablo! Nickering loudly in excitement. Then Galloping towards Acheles, and whinnying to her.

Diablo dragged himself to a stream, he was humiliated, he had lost his mare to a stupid young stallion. If he had not challenged Gar he would have won that fight easily. He stepped into the river, letting the water wash his wounds, his blood turning the water red as it flowed past.

Firesong walked to the river to get a a drink. A shadow was in the river, bleeding out. Firesong's ears pricked in curiosity. She softly nickered a greeting.

History:
August was born a year before his sister, Acheles. He's protective of her and wants her to be safe. He was in the same Indian tribe as she was, so he always chased stallions away from her. She got lost one day, and never came back. He took care of the tribe, until they let him leave. He left to find the place his sister went, and he plans on making his own herd.

He has some pink fleshy scars that cover his flank and golden coat, but he thinks of them as all of the battles he's won.
