Fancy saw the kick paint gave Diablo. She knew trouble was coming now. she trotted off keeping a distance of them all. She looked away knowing someone was going to get hurt. Fancy felt her legs start to hurt again. She wanted to lay down but couldn't with a stallion so close by.

Eclipse trotted forward, putting herself between Diablo and the other mares. "Go. I'll be okay. Hurry, before he gets mad enough to take you." She said softly to them. Then she flicked her tail, spreading her scent to distract Diablo.

Diablo dragged himself out of the water and let out a loud angry whinny, seeing Eclipse he sighed, he would get those other mares in the future, for now he would be satisfied with Eclipse.

Paint stopped. Thinking for a second, then she spun around and stood beside Eclipse. "Im staying here" she said proudly "If he has both of us, then so be it". She looked at Diablo and let out a tiny bit of heat scent.

Paint was slowly camlying down. She walked a little ways to the river that Diablo had fallen in and took a long drink. It felt good on her dry throat. After drinking, she walked into it and let the water rise off her dirty pelt.
