The signs of her pregnancy were starting to show as summer began to end. Rune was not liking the fact that Horkos had yet to return. The young mare pinned her ears at the absence of the stallion and began to slowly make her way back to the one place she knew she would be safe. It would be a while before she would be even in hearing distance of the herd but at this rate, it didn't seem like Horkos would be back before winter. A lone mare in winter was a dead horse before it even started and she wasn't planning on struggling because she had chosen to wait. Now, Rune was heading back to her father, though knowing the way back was long, if Horkos was around, he'd easily be able to intercept her path.
------
The stallion was pleased with her response this time. With it being so late within the season he didn't hesitate and make sure, he wouldn't give her the time to change her mind. Titanium covered Corona before he returned to her side. He didn't nuzzle the mare, rather instead he began to groom out the knots in her mane. He had managed to gain a mare, along with the prospects of a foal for now. With this in mind, he was content, for now anyway. The stallion snorted before he rested his head over Corona's back, listening and looking at their surrounds, making sure that no stallion would attempt to get close to his mare, not that he expected any to attempt to this late in summer already.

"Know what I've done wrong,
Left your heart torn.
Is that what devils do?"
Kumar
Kumar nodded to Lotus and looked up at the sky. It seemed that some clouds were rolling in, and not the nice fluffy white ones. "Well, how about we head down to the valley instead?" He asked his mares, inviting them to take the lead.

"Now, I know I'm not a saint,
I've been a sinner all my life.
I ain't trying to hide my flaws,
I'd rather keep them in the light."
Sky Spectre
Spectra watched him pace when he discovered his other mare was missing. The silvery mare frowned and looked around thoughtfully. To be honest, if he left her she could've gotten snatched up by a passing stallion. As her stallion spoke, she listened but only replied to one of his questions. "Sure" She spoke in reply to his question regarding her traveling with him. It seemed right, mare and stallion wandering together. Besides, it'd be unfortunate if he lost both his mares to marauding stallions.

Ladon looked over his brother and decided to get back up. The colt went towards Arma warily and gave him a poke in the side with his muzzle before speaking. "What are you doing?"

"I'm about to go astray,

Corona Vestige
Corona noted that he didn't nuzzle her but rather seemed to be a bit more practical. Even so, the mare was one for affection. She gave him a nuzzle and as he protectively laid his head over her back, she quietly began to groom him, figuring it'd be a good way to get to know him a bit better.

"If our love is tragedy, why are you my remedy?
If our love's insanity, why are you my clarity?"
Xanthos
Xanthos couldn't wait any longer, it was killing her. The leopard mare walked forwards, carefully approaching Galaxy's band. She considered nickering, but she was already intruding, and didn't want to become out of place so quickly. Instead she just continued to steadily come towards them, waiting for Galaxy to notice her. It was one of the most tense moments of her life, and her heart was beating at her ribcage like a bird trapped. The whole thing properly wouldn't be that dramatic but she couldn't help it. She was about to be at peace for the first time in years.

(I swear I'll make a big ol' master post soon. Also, it'll be a harsh winter, feat. a blizzard. And a wildfire will be heading to a Utasia near you next spring/summer.)

Instantly Lotus' ears pricked forward. She eyed the clouds darkly. "Looks like a storm is coming." With that she pointed her muzzle towards the valley. "Lets go." With that she started off at a slow gallop.

Ivory smiled and nuzzled her lovingingly. "Thank you Spectra." He looked up at the sky and tensed. "I think we best find shelter though. It looks like a storm is coming."

Arma shrugged. "Nothing much. Just watching. The clouds don't look all that happy do they?"

"Right, the sky looks so dark." she said, almost a tremor in her voice. She nodded her head at Lotus's idea. She started off with a walk trying to follow lotus with her eyes. Then she started off doing a trot before building to a faster gallop. "This looks like a Thunder Storm. We should find somewhere where we will be safe. She thought.

Lotus looked back at them. "We need to find shelter soon! Are we sure we want to go to the valley? There are plenty of caves we can go into and some go underground." She sounded uneasy. She didn't like the look of things.

Story was a tad concerned as he brought a young, terrified, mare to her. She looked shetan over and snorted. "You need to wash those wounds, so they don't get infected." She told him approaching cautiously, more or less since her sides were rounding out and she could see the crazed look in his eyes. For now she'd ignore the younger mare but also keep shetan busy, discreetly of course, but she also wanted to know what kind of mindset he was in, last year had been.. Nice, for shetan that is, she figured he was still calculating and manipulative then, less crazy eyed as he seemed in that moment. She reached out her muzzle and gently nudged him towards the water, true concern, whether just for him or the safety of her plan and foal, she didn't know.

Lula let out a light chuckle, "If anything it's refreshing to meet someone honest, even if blunt." She stated with a smile before letting it fall as she took in his next question, swishing her tail and coughing, ugh the cold and harsh winter was coming. She decided that she was never gonna be wanted by many stallions and looked up at this big over protective stallion. "I say," She paused and smiled playfully before finishing her sentence. "Yes, as long as you try not to start a fight with my only brother." She said giving him a teasing yet half serious look.

With winter approaching Treasure happily agreed. He nudged her softly and started off beside her, not wanting anything to get to her. she was rounding out with foal which excited him but he was also nervous to be a father.

Winter sneezed as he looked utterly surprised at her appearance. She seemed round with foal, no doubt Prince's. "Hello Satana!" He greeted warmly, He wondered where her stallion was but found it impolite to ask. As it was getting cold he moved closer. He'd been in one spot for a while so he thought where ever she was headed he'd go with her. She was close to him and he wouldn't mind some company. "Where are you headed? If you don't mind I'd like to join you, just until your stallion can keep you company of course." He said with a smile, he didn't want to intrude and was in no way wanting to steal her away.

(uh Night, i hate that i replied so late but if you'd like we can say it happened with Robin and Yasi. I'm very sorry with the lateness)

Boomer smiled and then nuzzled him before nuzzling Blaze too. She then noticed a mare close by and recognized her pretty quickly. Xanthos. She wished this mare would leave them alone. She was growing to despise her. Sure Galaxy had loved her, but why would she keep coming back? Just to remind him of this? To her Xanthos was a traitor, and couldn't possibly love Galaxy, at least not as much as she did. Whenever Xanthos was around it was like she didn't exist. She just decided to focus on her children and got Blaze to nap. It seemed like a long harsh winter ahead.

Zee let a pause fall as she looked at her son and her stallion. "Relic?' She asked softly looking up at him. "Do you love me?" she couldn't help but ask it, after all she'd done to him, sometimes unintentionally but all the same, she had to wonder if he did. She was his first mare, but she'd always felt as thought he'd loved Sun and Pirate more. She knew it was no competition but still felt as though she wasn't sure, she was sure she loved him, very sure.

Stars watched this stallion leave this dead horse's corpse and take off with whom she assumed was his daughter with a stone heart. She was curious as to why he chased the one off but slid slowly down from the ridge she was on to see the body, this seemed to have no effect on her emotions at the moment. She sniffed it and saw his eyes were still open. They were blue. Her cat like eyes saw the emptiness and felt a pang of remembrance. She saw the same thing in her eyes, and in her father's. She snorted and shook her head. She wondered what this stallion must have felt. "You didn't fail them." Is the only thing she said before lifting her head and taking off in the same direction she saw the other mare go. She had no idea why she was doing this, none. She also had no idea she might piss the mare off, seeing as she looked like Dark in a way. "Hello?" She called as she slowed.

Crash nodded agreeing with Eclispe. "You need to be careful, we should move to a cave or the valley. Winter will set in soon." He said seeing what they wanted to do.

Fanta nodded. "Okay I will be Mama and Papa." He said with smile. "I wanna go to a cave! It sounds like fun!"

Gypsy dozed happily. They would probably visit her father and mother on the way to a safe place for winter.

Angel snorted once and gave a nod. She guessed he was right, she didn't know him as a foal so she wasn't sure but she knew she didn't like talking. She simply gazed at him wondering what they were gonna do since her mother slept.

They had explored a lot of utasia but as a shiver went down her back Kaleos turned to Skully. "We should probably head back huh Skully? It's getting a bit chilly."

Moon moved off a bit, that mare was back but he would leave them to it. After this winter he wanted to go off, he loved his family but he felt like he needed a change in scenery and a herd of his own.

Magic went up and pulled on her forelock playfully. "Meia we should probably head to the valley, it's getting colder." He said lightly.

[[ That's fine with me :3

Titan felt the mare begin to groom him, the early beginning of winter was already showing it's effects in the weather. He was enjoying the company of another horse for warmth right now and he soon returned the favor of grooming and started at her withers. He was silent, Shatter wasn't one with words, his actions usually spoke louder than words in his opinion.

Galaxy was watching Blaze for a moment before movement caught his attention. His eyes locked with that of Xanthus, the first mare he ever loved, the one that also caused his plenty of pain. He gently nudged Boomer, clearly feeling the mare's mood shift at the sight of the presence of Xanthus. The bay stallion slowly moved towards her, not at all enthusiastic over her appearance, after all, she usually just ran right back off and to him, this seemed no different. He was growing tired with this, though his love for her was still there, though he kept that away for the fear of once again being hurt. "Yes Xanthus?" He questioned her.

Such a questioned seemed to catch the older stallion off guard. The buckskin looked to Zee curious, wondering what would bring her to ask such a question. "Why do you ask such a question Zee? Of course I love you." Relic stated in response. Red flags were already running through his head over the approaching winter, he could feel something wrong about it. Though surprisingly he hadn't had to deal with Shetan this spring, it seemed to relax him some.

The younger horse looked up to his sister as he shivered, a few concerning coughs escaping him as he nodded. "Y-yeah." He said. He wasn't use to this weather and it was taking it's toll on his young body. He was beginning to show signs of loosing weight and a cold, there would be no definate answer of if he was to survive this coming winter.

Her sides were larger and rounded with that of Magic's foal. The mare snorted as he pulled her forelock playfully. "That would be a good idea." She said in response.

Mood: Good enough
Age: 18 years

"Feels so good being bad, there's no way I'm turning back.
Now the pain is my pleasure, nothing can measure."
Dark Light II
Dark nudged her stallion as they moved off, her muzzle brushing along his neck before she edged into the lead. Her foal was a lively one and a fast grower. The mare felt it kick as she slowed a moment and she snorted. She was only heading for the valley now, considering the weather and the late season, it was time to get their butts down there. Dark set the pace at a medium trot, the fastest she could do with her expanding belly and unhelpful passenger.

"I'm a beast, I'm an animal, I'm that monster in the mirror.
The headliner, finisher, I'm the closer, the winner.
Best when under pressure, with seconds left I show up."
Shetan
Shetan's expecting gaze set in his high held head dimmed with the heaving of his chest. The proud anticipation, the want of her approval was like that of a young foal to his mother. But it was dripping out of his gaze, leaving only the empty haze of insanity. His mind was gnawing on itself, or it had been. Now it was ravenous, attempting to consume itself completely. Yet, yet there was a part of it that disliked this increased pace. Not yet, not yet. I'm always late, remember? Bah, but no matter, he had to focus here. Here and now, his mind wasn't gone.
The spotted stallion looked down over his body, now aware of the stiffness of his fur due to the dried blood on him. His mare did take care of him that was for sure. With a groan and a stumble, he moved closer to Story. His head dipped down, the feeling that he had disappointed her hitting him through that same strange pathway that the urge to please her did. Shetan's head hit her shoulder, resting there as he resigned himself to this mindlessness for a moment. Then, following suit with this foal-like string of behavior, he gave her belly a nudge, let out a hoarse ghost of a nicker to Rosie, and turned to wander towards water without protest.
Shetan made sure to keep the herd near water, so he was soon wading into the starting-to-freeze water. The shock from the cold rippled through him, and he snorted as he shook himself out, trying to avoid a shiver. The stallion briefly rolled, keeping it very practical, and was soon back by his mares' sides. But then again, he could hardly stay still and in one spot now. The tips of his fur curled with frost that quickly dissipated under the crackle of electricity in the air. All that foal behavior, it was a recovery. He'd gone to take care of his blood-thirst and he needed a little play to even out with the violence. But now he was at a paused moment, and his eyes crawled over his two mares. He had two tugs pulling away at him, one was taking him out into Utasia again to look for his enemy, while the other was pulling him to his mares. And Shetan, being the way he is, decided he could have both. He planned on seeing if the mares were thirsty then taking them with him exploring.

Xanthos
Xanthos knew, just knew, that something seemed wrong. But it was something she didn't bother herself with right now. "Galaxy..." She began, moving closer to him with a shy smile. "I'm sorry. Sorry that it took me so long to come around. But I have, and I'm here, here to stay." She phased, hesitating a tad and forcing herself to take it a bit more causally. "If you still want." It was obvious she wanted to be with him, but there was still that doubt creeping in, the fear that he'd deny her as she'd denied Scream.

Sweet Abandon
Bandy had collapsed a little bit after she'd realized that Shetan had left with her daughter. Both grief and exhaustion had driven her to the ground. The Pintaloosa mare was curled around herself, her large barrel was what she was really protecting. It all had come crashing down around her; her worst nightmares realized. Shetan had come and taken what he wanted. But why, why hadn't he taken her? Because she was pregnant? It made no sense, but then again why would she even try and apply logic to him? Her eyes closed and she held back a scream, placing her muzzle on the ground. What really killed her was that all she could do to help her daughter now was pray that she would be safe.
When a voice called out, her head shot up and she attempted to stand quickly. It was difficult though with her belly and she nearly fell back down. She spotted the caller, and while she did seem like a member of her family, she dismissed her as a threat due to the fact that she was a mare and Bandy just didn't even really care anymore. Her daughter and stallion were gone, there was little point left in this life. The mare sighed, her head lowering as she settled back on all four of her feet. Her response was a whinny back to the other mare, as she couldn't muster words.

Kumar
Kumar had been following Lotus when his mares slowed and expressed concern over the weather. As both got on edge, he began to consider snaking to keep them on track. "It does look bleak, but the valley should be better in general. Besides what type of a place is a cave for a horse?" He didn't even really have caves in his homeland, and he'd never liked them. He gave them both a nudge to speed them up on their way to the valley.

Corona Vestige
Corona reached her new stallion's hips, pausing her grooming a moment. He wasn't much of a talker, so that meant she knew him very little. But she was his and they were expecting a foal, it'd be nice to know him a bit. She wasn't one to love unconditionally anymore, so this was more of an arrangement of convenience. A way for her to survive and try and find a connection again. Her head slipped over her Titan's back and she watched the skies hesitantly.

Horkos smiled and tipped his head as the mare spoke, but his smile dissipated as she coughed. But her health seemed to be her own problem, after all, she was very frail. Besides, she'd agreed to him. "Ah, that condition I can deal with. Can't blame me if he decides to take the initiative." He said with the return of his smile. "Hate to keep adding onto my faults, but if you don't mind, I'd like to head out." Well, head back to his other mare. Rune had been waiting a while/

Rosen Flames
Rosie could only numbly follow Shetan and his mare, finding that so far that Story was callous as well. The young mare was too much in shock to do much else but follow along as Shetan wandered off. She'd lost it all and despite the fact that she could probably escape fairly easily, it simply didn't make it through the haze of fear in her mind.

Ladon looked over his brother with a twitch of his muzzle. "Naw, doesn't seem like it." The foal agreed, feeling the wind blow his short mane and tail all around. The young horse had no real idea of what it all meant, having never really encountered a heavy storm.

Santana bowed her head sadly. "He left some sime ago. I have no where to go. I know of a cave we can shelter in. I shouldn't have gone with Prince." She nuzzled him softly. "It wa you I always wanted to be with but you never asked."

Dreamer and Eclipse nodded. "Lets go. It feels like a storm is coming." With that mother and daughter started off together.

Lotus stiffened at this. She knew it was safe in caves depending on the storm. She sighed softly. She then headed for the valley but gave him a look that clearly said she felt it was the wrong choice.

Ivory smiled softly. "My family is known for secret caves. I know where one is that we can eat vines off and tree bark nearby. How does it sound? I hear it is beautiful there too."

Feeling: A little scared|With: Kumar and Lotus|Herd: Kumar's|Quote: "Take me away to a new place where I am loved"

Glory nodded, she saw how he thought the valley would be safer. If lightning had struck the cave there could have been a cave in. She didn't really care where they were going at the moment she just wanted to be safe with her family, for the sake of them and her foal. She started to canter off, she felt something wrong was going on. The sky lit up faintly, the clouds beaming with light and the loud sound of thunder cracked up above. She gave a nervous whinny and reared at the sound. "Lets go! The rain will be here soon and I do not like the looks of this storm."
