Kodiak nodded. "I was too for a while. First I had a home, then I didn't, and now I'm do. It's kind of confusing," he said with a slight laugh.

Ace glanced over at the shape of a nearby dog, he wasn't sure whether to go up to it or stay where he was. He hadn't spoken to anyone since he had arrived here. Maybe it was time he did?
