The blue merle female sighed in pain as she walked around in a circle and sat down bhy a willow tree. It had been hours since the death of her loved Remi, and somehow, she knew he didn`t want her to sit and grieve over his death. She sighed one more time, standing up, and walking to the barn, looking for Hope. Suddenly, she felt a very large kick. This wasn`t good. Yet, Echo shook it off and continued looking for her only daughter. "Hope?" She called through out the barn, knowing she was in here somewhere. She sat down, perking her ears, one of the many beautiful features on her body. She looked to her stall, and the trough that the pups were born in, and where she usually laid at night along with one of her pups, and usually her loving mate Remington laying beside her.

[@Everyone:-Sorry I did not reply last night. My lap top is being very annoying and wont start up at the moment, and yes it's fully charged. I will try to reply tonight but I am not sure how good my posts will be since I will have to use my parents computer, and they tend to be on here right when I want to be. This wont stop me from replying though, I will find a way to do it soon.]

Ranger felt transfixed as he watched Rose climb onto the log and lean on the tree for support. He smiled as he watched her, she turned to him after seemingly assessing what was was best for getting the berries. "Not bad at all." He side with one of his charming lop sided grins. And as if just being around her wasn't enough to make him feel strange Rose decided to walk over to him and stand by his side. Of course the wind picked that moment to blow her sweet spicy scent toward him and the young brute found it hard to think of anything but Rose at the moment. He simply stared at her and couldn't think of any place he would rather be, of course that was silly thinking, what did he know about any of these feelings? Ranger was about ready to gather himself and step away, after all they did have work to do, not that he didn't enjoy being with Rose, he just didn't want to disappoint his father by not bringing back a rabbit. As these thoughts ran in his mind making his head heart Rose then leaned against him, he pelt touched his and all his thoughts vanished, in fact everything around him seemed to vanish, as far as he could tell it was just him and Rose. He turned to meet her gaze and as he did he felt a sudden and electric like connection with the young fae, as if a little bolt of lightening had just transferred from her to him. What it was Ranger didn't know, but everything in him begged to explore the strange feeling. Ranger was so busy just trying to understand everything that he hardly heard Rose's question. Catch a rabbit? His mind seemed blank at the question. "Catch a rabbit." He said softly, more to himself then anyone else. Then it came back to him, the real reason he was here, though something told him his father wouldn't mind so much if he came back without a rabbit. "Oh, uh, yes, I guess I do need to get on to doing that." As he said the words a sudden strangeness washed over him, he found part of him didn't want to leave Rose. He didn't want to break the connection that they had. As he still looked at her and in her posture and the glimpse he got of her eyes he saw the truth and he knew he should also see it that way. The Alpha had given him an order to catch a rabbit, and even if he was the Alpha's son he still needed to fallow those order like everyone else. His expression grew sad for only a moment as Rose then straightened bring her pelt away from his, being the first one to break away from the moment he would always see as beautiful and enchanting. He smiled at her as she brought her sweet gaze back to his and suggested she could come with. How could he say he wouldn't wait with her casting her beautiful gaze on him. "I cant deny it would be nice to have some company and it wont hurt to wait a little longer to find a rabbit." Ranger said finding it hard to look away from Rose for more then a few seconds. "Anything I can do to help, or should i just let the professional do the harvesting?"

Hope was still crying over her fathers death, just when she thought he tears were dry she cried some more. Her face was wet with the tears she had shed and her body still shook with sobs though maybe not as much. She had loved her father dearly and to see him go like this made her feel like her heart had been torn out of her chest and stomped on. She vowed right then and there she would not rest till the dogs that did this felt just as bad as she did, she would get revenge for her father if it was the last thing she did. With another sob she buried her face in her paw once again, but a voice from below brought her head up. Someone was calling her and she knew the voice was her mothers, while her mother and her had had their ups and downs she still loved her mother dearly and wanted comfort from her badly. As quick as she could Hope jumped the hay bales down to the barn floor where she saw her mother looking into the stall that had always been their home. She ran to her mother and leaned against her a little. "Momma." She said trying not to sob as she remembered that her mother was pregnant, she needed to be strong for her mother, but right now she felt weaker then ever. "Oh momma, I miss him so much." She said keeping her eyes closed as she drew some comfort from her mother.

Barrett laughed a little at Rose's words. "I knew what you meant Trin it's fine. You have to loosen up a little." He said turning to look at her. "Don't worry, you wont get dirty. But to be honest it wouldn't hurt you." He said the words kindly and stopped as he reached a small ditch by the back of the barn. The grass here was soft and still green despite it being autumn. The wolf mix sat down and then looked at the sky as the clouds started moving in. "This is about as clean as any fun thing will get." He said watched the clouds change shape. He smiled a little. "Being in a cast makes you pretty desperate for any fun." He looked at her a little bit of embarrassment on his face. "So I took to watching clouds and seeing what they looked like. If you look closely that cloud right above the barn, it looks like a flower to me." He was not sure what Trinity would think of this sort of fun. The fae was a surprise all the time it would seem. No one could tell just what she was going to do, but perhaps this would be something she would enjoy and he could get her to loosen up and have some fun.

Amber watched as Lucky seemed to rethink what he was doing. Maybe he would see the truth and not go through with this, but she could understand why he would want to. She looked back at Tom as eh seemed to be ready. As her human walked toward them she shook her head then turned back to Lucky to answer his question. "You do not have to decide now, I think you should think about this long and hard. It is not something that should just be decided upon lightly. Talk about this with your mate, make sure that you both agree on the same thing. I know you would not want to break her heart." She turned to Tom and let out a low bark again and then turned to Lucky again. "Tom and I will be waiting for you here, and again please make sure you can handle this, for if you go through with it your mate will be nothing to you. You will not know her at all. You and her both need to decide if this is worth it. Though if you fell in love with her once you will surly fall in love with her again."

Gunner nodded at Lavender's words and smiled to himself as he watched Rose and Ranger walk away. He laughed to himself never thinking he would ever feel that way. "It's alright Lavender, I know Rose will always know more then I do. I have accepted that fact and I am alright with it. I don't mind being the assistant at all." The young brute sad with a smile before going on to look for the herbs they needed. He remembered Rose saying something about Comfrey so he set about to look for that. He managed to find some not to far away and picked a decent amount leaving enough of the plant to grow again next year. While he did enjoy being a healer be found he didn't mind being considered second to Rose. She was a great healer and deserved to be seen as the best.

But somehow she kept listening, following Barrett to the ditch, which was surrounded by viridescent, soft grass. Watching Barrett's gaze lift to the sky, Trinity looked up too, to watch the white clouds begin to move in to the darkening azure glass that was the atmosphere. Before the wolf mix pup even spoke, the fae was already observing the clouds that were morphing in to all kinds of shapes as they lazily drifted to the right and the left. Some of the clouds were crepuscular, grey and threatening, heavy with the tears of the world. Others were innocent, fluffy white pillows that drifted in to the watery golden shafts of light of the sun, illuminated with an incandescent aureolin and silver glow. It seemed that the darkness was conquering the sky once more, an inevitable process of life. And there she sat, in silence, watching the clouds in their silent conflict up above, where Heaven and Hell collided to create our living world.
