I decided that Maverick is just going to take his group back since Corgi has not come on lately and I don't want to hold up anyone who was with them.
@Mullane:-Well, I am not sure how much longer this version of the role play will last. I need to talk about that with some people. But you can make another dog if you would like.
@Speechless:-You know I couldn't have it any other way. Besides this pack's leader has a slight history with Maverick.
@Sunset:-I hope that you don't mind about me kind of playing Rose in the fact that they are pushing the log there. I just didn't want to make a short post about him almost having it pushed there and what not. c:
Sorry to everyone if my posts seem lacking. I am focusing so much on a craft sale my mom and I are doing plus I am trying to make the layout and forums for the next version so everything will be ready. }

Maverick headed back to camp dragging a young deer behind him as the weather started turning rather sour. He could smell the blood in the air that was Remi's. So much death, hadn't he moved away from the old territory to prevent this. He let out a heavy sigh as he dropped the deer just outside of the barn, he then helped Echo find a peaceful resting spot for Remington. He walked back to camp and looked at the pups that had been hunting with him and Blaze. He put on a smile and looked at the deer. "You pups need to eat." He said kindly though he himself did not feel like eating. He knew the dog who had done this, Fang was his name. When Maverick had taken in Don he had, had to fight off a rather blood thirsty Husky mix. The dog had been good at fighting and disappearing. He hadn't been able to end Fang's life but he had hoped he had hoped he had taught the brute a lesson. It seemed now he had not. Fang was out for revenge now, Maverick knew that. But Maverick did not know what lengths Fang would go to destroy The Determined, and he would not live long enough to see them. Ranger would have to deal with any other threats that came in the future. Maverick sighed and took a bit of the deer showing the pups that even he was eating. The day was turning gloomy as were his thoughts, for seeing that all the other dogs around him were being killed he knew it was a miracle he was still alive. He now realized how short life was and that is should be treasured and lived happily. He didn't see Lavender and her group yet and hoped that they were alright after all his son was with them.

Ranger nodded at Rose's words as she said she would always be there should he need her like she had needed him. He doubted he would ever feel as depressed as she had, but then he couldn't see into the future to see how wrong he was and how much he would need this sweet fae that was by his side. He fallowed her to the log and laughed a little at her comment about squashing him. "I doubt you could ever squash me Rose your light as a feather." He smiled and walked over watching her dog around the log before positioning her nose under it. The merle germen shepherd mix moved to the other end of the log and got into the same position as Rose. He took a deep breath hoping this would work. "Ready." He said giving the log a shove. He dug his paws into the soil as he nudged the log. He felt his move a little and he smiled. It seemed his plan was working so far. Now they would just need to see if they would be able to reach the elderberries. He pushed at the log again feeling it moving more each time he and Rose pushed it. He glanced up to see how close they were and found they just needed about to more good pushes before the log would sit where they needed it. "Just two more nudges." He said voicing his thoughts. "Then it should be just where we want it." He nudged the log again digging his paws into the ground hard. He felt the log move forward rather quickly before it stopped on a rock, right where he wanted it. He looked at Rose. "Well that went better then I thought it would, don't ya think?" He gave her a slightly lopsided smile as he tilted his head to the side just a little. He remembered then he needed to catch a rabbit, perhaps he could do that quick while Rose gathered the elderberries.

Checkers rolled his eyes at Pistol then stopped as he heard the cry of help from Echo. He looked at the pups. "Come on and stick close." He hurried back to camp to find Maverick arriving and then he saw Remington laying dead. He stopped short and felt his heart sinking. He looked to Hope, Pistol and Ruger. He didn't see Gunner and remembered that he was with Lavender. The big wolf hybrid felt terribly sorry for the pups. To lose their father at such a young age. He sat down and watched as Echo and Maverick buried Remington in a peaceful spot not to far from the barn. The aussie would be missed but Checkers did not want to say anything, Echo and him got along but they were not really friends. She had never really liked him, even from the beginning. He turned and walked to a tree just a few feet from the barn. He sat down and watched the rain clouds that were gathering in the sky.

Barrett laughed a little at Rose's words. "I knew what you meant Trin it's fine. You have to loosen up a little." He said turning to look at her. "Don't worry, you wont get dirty. But to be honest it wouldn't hurt you." He said the words kindly and stopped as he reached a small ditch by the back of the barn. The grass here was soft and still green despite it being autumn. The wolf mix sat down and then looked at the sky as the clouds started moving in. "This is about as clean as any fun thing will get." He said watched the clouds change shape. He smiled a little. "Being in a cast makes you pretty desperate for any fun." He looked at her a little bit of embarrassment on his face. "So I took to watching clouds and seeing what they looked like. If you look closely that cloud right above the barn, it looks like a flower to me." He was not sure what Trinity would think of this sort of fun. The fae was a surprise all the time it would seem. No one could tell just what she was going to do, but perhaps this would be something she would enjoy and he could get her to loosen up and have some fun.

In the woods waiting for Lucky.
Amber & Tom
Amber watched as Lucky seemed to rethink what he was doing. Maybe he would see the truth and not go through with this, but she could understand why he would want to. She looked back at Tom as eh seemed to be ready. As her human walked toward them she shook her head then turned back to Lucky to answer his question. "You do not have to decide now, I think you should think about this long and hard. It is not something that should just be decided upon lightly. Talk about this with your mate, make sure that you both agree on the same thing. I know you would not want to break her heart." She turned to Tom and let out a low bark again and then turned to Lucky again. "Tom and I will be waiting for you here, and again please make sure you can handle this, for if you go through with it your mate will be nothing to you. You will not know her at all. You and her both need to decide if this is worth it. Though if you fell in love with her once you will surly fall in love with her again."

Hope quickly fallowed Checkers back as she heard her mothers sobs and barks for help. Her heart beat fast as she arrived at the spot where her mother was, she was just in time to see Maverick helping her mother lay her father to rest. The little female pup nearly fell to the ground as sobs shook her little body. "Daddy." She whispered softly her sweet voice sad and broken. "Oh daddy." She said again as she felt her heart was being ripped from her chest. Tears ran down her cheeks and she took deep breaths. She couldn't stay here, she couldn't believe it. This couldn't be happening. Was this how Red, Ica, Trinity and Rose had felt when Don had past? How had they ever gotten over it? SHe felt as if she would forever have a black mark in her heart, a mark that left a hole and that hole would never ever ne filled again, she doubted it ever would. The ache grew worse and Hope felt she was dying. She took a step back and then ran to the barn, she climbed to the loft and curled in a bed of hay and let the tears come as she sobbed without stopping.

Gunner nodded at Lavender's words and smiled to himself as he watched Rose and Ranger walk away. He laughed to himself never thinking he would ever feel that way. "It's alright Lavender, I know Rose will always know more then I do. I have accepted that fact and I am alright with it. I don't mind being the assistant at all." The young brute sad with a smile before going on to look for the herbs they needed. He remembered Rose saying something about Comfrey so he set about to look for that. He managed to find some not to far away and picked a decent amount leaving enough of the plant to grow again next year. While he did enjoy being a healer be found he didn't mind being considered second to Rose. She was a great healer and deserved to be seen as the best.
