Maverick watched his son with Dixie and Rose, both feas seemed sweet and kind. But he noticed his son seemed to focus on Rose more, while he wanted to be with his son he thought it best to also let his son be with his friends. Though something in the way that Rose happened to walk past Ranger and the way Ranger flirted around her he suspected that they may like each other. While now it was just a crush perhaps in the future they would find a deeper love. Of course no one knew for sure and maybe they would fall in love else where but he wouldn't hold his son back just for that reason. Maverick then turned to his mate and daughter. "Alright you two, shall we go hunting?" He smiled and was glad that his daughter was at least with him, Ace was growing up just as fast as Bandit and Ranger. The young fae couldn't take down any full grown deer or big animals like that, but perhaps he could take her fishing, fish tasted alright and fishing was a skill any dog should know, even a healer incase they needed to find their own food. The black germen shepherd started toward the stream, his mate and daughter not after behind him. "Today Ace we will see how your fishing skills are." He said as he heard the stream not far away.

Dixie sighed, not wanting to be here. If Rose liked Ranger, and the two made it very clear that they like each other, she was going to leave it at that. She padded swiftly away, planning on sitting alone. She then ran into something, fluffy yet strong. I-I-Im So-so-sorry.... Dixie managed to stutter. This male was not one she had seen around the pack, so this completely scared her.

Complimenting her gorgeous coat were her deep chocolate eyes that seemed to gaze in to his broken soul like the heart of a fallen angel. Her tail was curled adorably over her back naturally. Suddenly realising that he was staring, the fighter-to-be took a step back and lowered his head sheepishly. "Oh, it's fine, Miss Dixie. I didn't see you there. What brings you here?" He asked with a gentle smile. He hadn't smiled genuinely in a long time, not since his father's death...

The white female smiled gently. First, please call me Dixie. And second, I was just leaving Rose and Ranger, letting them be alone for awhile. She said, looking up to Red. His piercing eyes seemed to look her over, but she didn`t mind. She moved her tail so she could sit down, placing her front paws sitting neatly in front of her well shaped body. Dixie sighed in a content way, awaiting Red`s answer.

Red nodded, still with a smile overwhelming his usually glare-set face. He glanced to the group he was with for a moment, wondering if it was an appropriate time to talk to Dixie, and since nothing appeared to be happening, he sat down on the ground, looking to Dixie again. As he sat down, his white paws crunched the aureolin and vermillion leaves that lay scattered across the woodlands. The puppy was usually reserved and barely ever spoke to anybody else in the pack, but it seemed that this kishu had caught his attention and kept it. "Alone? Oh, I see..." He trailed off in to a silence, remembering how Rose and Ranger had been showing their feelings for each other in tiny glimpses recently. Obviously it was becoming something more, although he had never mentioned it to anyone else, for he did not wish to embarrass his older sister. "I've seen you around, Dixie, but we've never really talked to each other until now. And...I must say, you're..." His white cheeks heated up, and he shyly shifted his paws as he looked down at them. He had no idea of why he was suddenly acting so shy when usually he was strong-willed and reserved.

"...You're very pretty."

At the last words, she felt her face heat up majorly. She looked down quickly, unaware of what to say. She looked back up to him. I-I-I-um,She began, gathering her marbles so she wouldn`t embarress her self. Thank you Red.... She said, smiling up at him. Her tail wagged a little, and she instantly forgot about Ranger. Dixie`s eyes twinkled against the slight sun, looking up at Red with intrest.
