Don smiled to himself as Lavender walked through the door, calling him 'sir'. He remembered the times where he had once called Lavender 'Miss Lavender', but that was no longer necessary - besides, she would be 'mrs' Lavender now. I think. Once Lavender was outside, Don carefully pushed the door shut behind him, and started to slowly walk in to the woods. Remembering that he had Rose on his back, he paused for a second and smiled sheepishly. He had forgotten for a moment there. "You alright up there, Rose? Just hold on. I'll go slowly for you." He said softly, looking over his shoulder at the little puppy that was nestling in to his soft, white fur. "Perhaps if we find a river close by we could all take a bath. Well...I need one anyway." He looked at his bloody and dirty sides from his wounds with a smirk. "I'm sure Lavender doesn't want a smelly mate with her in public." At this joking comment, he looked at Lavender with a wag of his tail.

Once she got used to the different perspective height gave her, the little pup's attention was snared by the overload of sensory detail; there was so much brightness, so many things to look at. She snuggled further into Don's fur, feeling calm and secure. Rose looked down as Don slowed to a stop and looked up at her. It turned out that he was only worried about her, the way he always was. She smiled and huddled down even further into his white fur, to placate him and also because he was soft and warm. It was getting a little chilly up there.
Rose smiled, snorting softly, as Don joked about having a bath in the river. You probably don't want a smelly pup, either, she replied. It was probably true, though, and she was feeling a little grubby. Plus, her injured foot could probably do with a little numbing chill, as the herbs had done their work.

Don lightly nudged Rose's muzzle as she replied to his remark. "Alright, we're all smelly. Therefore we all need a bath." He retorted, whilst glancing to Lavender as he put emphasis on the 'all' part of his sentence. With a brief gesture to the woods with his muzzle, he started off on the walk with Lavender by his side and Rose on his back. It was quite a funny sight - a graceful collie, a tiny mixed breed puppy, and a big American pitbull, all going for a nice little stroll. The three made a perfect little family. The pitbull continued on the walk through the woods, keeping at a level and steady pace so that the young fae on his back wouldn't fall off. After a while, Don had found the river. But he could hear a continous, water crashing sort of sound to his left. Gesturing for Lavender to follow, he walked down the riverside until the family came across a small waterfall, which pooled out in to a pond of clear, slow-moving and shallow water. "This is perfect for a quick bath." He noted out loud, watching the water slowly whirl along as it flowed back in to the form of a river to the right. His attention was caught by the small, foamy waterfall after a quick inspection of the water. "Or a shower, if you ladies would prefer a shower." Don looked to Lavender with an amused smirk for a moment. "I won't look by the way. You two probably want your privacy. Unless you don't mind."

Lavender couldn't help but giggle as Don's comments continued. He could always make her laugh, that is whenever he was in a good moon himself. She couldn't argue that she needed to get clean as well, her long tan fur was starting to get a bit matted and tangled, plus the blood from Don's injuries that she hadn't bothered to wash off. She padded along with him happily through the trees of their new home, but couldn't help but glance to Rose every now and again to make sure she was alright. Which of course, she was, and even seemed to be enjoying her new perch. She'd take a walk with all three of them over time alone with Don, it was so much nicer to her. As they arrived she admired the perfect bathing spot as well, and saw a few fish scatter as the dog's shadows fell over their little pool. At the comment about having "privacy" she let loose another giggle and nosed him playfully. "I think I can permit my mate to see me get wet." She chuckled, then carefully plucked Rose off of the pitbull's back, placing her gently into the shallow water. They were right at the shore, so the water only came up to little Rose's knees. Lav wanted her to get used to it if she needed to, but she herself waded in a bit deeper, up to her own knees, before glancing back at her pup. "How's the water Rose?" She asked in her kind, gentle voice.

Annie smiled at his words. She would never get tired of hearing him say he loved her. She had waited so long to hear it and she would honestly be happy if that was all he said. Though she did like to talk with him about other things. She laughed a little. He was much more cranky when he was Chico. "Ah, I suppose so. But something tells me that even had you been they way you are now, you still would have fought him for flirting with me." She then looked fully at him and noticed the poppy flower he offered to her. She smiled sweetly, her short tail wagging a little. He probably had no idea the flower was used for pain and helping sleep. She touched her nose to his and gently took the flower. "Thank you Lucky." She said softly. Then she placed the flower down and sighed before looking at Lucky again, a rather guilty look was on her face. "Buck was not fully to blame though, I have to admit I was hoping to make you mad. To see if you really liked me." She looked down a bit ashamed at how she had acted. Of course looking down she saw the flower. She smiled as she looked at it. She wished she could keep it forever, though that would next to impossible. She looked back up at Lucky. "I am sorry now that I did that, but I guess I am not completely sorry as it may have had something to do with you breaking free of those others personalities." She tilted her head at him making one ear flop over her eye. She shook her head flipping it back. She glanced at the flower again. "Did you know that a Poppy flower is not only pretty, but it is also used by healers? And." She added glancing at him. "It is also one of my favorite flowers."

Remi watched as Story left and he sighed. Had he not said the right thing? Perhaps she just wanted time alone. A lot had happened that day. He peaked out of the stall and watched as Story ate by herself. He took a deep breath and trotted out to her. He sat by her and decided he might as well speak before he lost the nerve. "Story?" He started softly. "I.....I was thinking...That is...Do you really want pups? As in pups now?" He thought she did from the way she had talked. And he had to admit the more he thought about it the more he liked the idea of having a family with Story. He watched her face and hoped that he hadn't spoken to soon about it again. Or maybe she wanted pups later on. But there was no harm in asking her supposed.

Checkers smiled a little at her and then looked at the water watching the ripples his movements made. "Don't worry I promise not to cheat, at least not this time." He smiled a little more and then started counting down. "One......Two......Go!" He barked and sprang into the water. The coolness surrounded him and relaxed him. He moved effortlessly through the water, almost like a duck. Of course thinking of ducks he grew rather hungry for one at that moment. And thinking about food slowed him down, Finn was right next to him and this time the food was forgotten and his mind focused on the beauty by his side. The way the sun reflected off the water and cast a sort of glow about her made him smile. And the way some of her wet fur curled just a little form being wet made him smile more. Of course this again slowed him down and Finn reach the other side just a nose ahead of him. As he placed his paws on dry ground he shook his fur out then looked at Finn. "I guess you won, so what do you want to ask me?"

-- Finn plunged into the cool blue water, as soon as she made contact with the pound it began to surround her body and quickly cool down her skin and fur that had been heated up bye the sun that beat down on the forest. Small waves began to form at her splash and she toke off through the water like a bolt of lighting, little did the small fea know it was just because Checkers was distracted by the hunger for duck and then by how her soaking wet coat looked in the fresh water of the pound. It didn't take long for Finn to be in the lead of there little race winning quite easily. Her white paws reached out and touched the waters edge just before Checkers could and she pulled herself up and out of the pound the water dripping off of her coat and onto the dry grass next to her. She liked the water away from her nose before looking up at the brute in front of her. She had been to busy wondering what she might have to tell him she had forgotten to think of what she would ask him. She tilted her head yet again as she thought of what to ask the brute. Her small muzzle opened up only slightly as she asked him." What happened to you just before we first meet?" She asked him her head still tilted. She began to wonder what he could have been doing before they meet as she patiently waited for his reply. Was he in a pack before this one and left? Had he been with a different fea? For some reason Finn didn't like the idea of Checkers being with another fea and quickly pushed the thought a way along with a sad look at had came on her face. She replaced it with a tiny smile hoping he wouldn't ask her way she had had that look on her face while looking at him.

He remained quiet and let her speak, though it hurt him a little when the guilty look crossed her face and he gave her a comforting nuzzle. Though it stung a little, it was also the first time he got to show Annie how much he cared about her, even if it was in a violent way. He knew what she said was true, he would still fight for her any day. He smiled as one ear flopped over her eye and she shook it off. It was so cute. But then he turned his attention to the flower as she spoke of it's properties, causing his head to take on a little tilt. He had not known that....But he looked up again, floppy ears perked with curiosity, as she mentioned it was her favorite. "Well, then it shall only enhance your beauty." He responded softly with a gentle smile. He picked it up where she had set it down and carefully tucked it into a knot in her fur, just behind the ear, so it flopped over the top of it. He leaned back a bit to admire his work with a loving smile. "Well there you go. The most beautiful sight that I ever did see." He gave her nose a gentle lick, his fluffy tail swaying softly behind him.

Don stifled an amused laugh at Lavender's response. He watched with his usual protectiveness as Lavender lowered Rose in to an area of shallow water. He knew that Lavender was being careful, but his protectiveness was just another thing that came naturally to him. Once Lavender had also waded in to the water, Don decided that it was his turn. Oh no. Don definitely was not a graceful dog. And there was water in front of him. Plus he was pretty heavy. Add all that together, and- the pitbull suddenly jumped in to the water with a massive splash. He disappeared under a deeper area of water for a while, and it seemed like he had gotten lost in there, when the familliar face of the white dog popped out of the water with a loud gasp. He then paddled around in a circle with his nose just above the water, deliberately wagging his tail to cause more water to splash everywhere.

I heard Jack's voice and woke up. looked at him. "Sorry did not here you. Can you repeat that?' I asked. Sleepily smiling. He seemed happy again, but still not in his normal mood. i again thought about Michelle. Was she okay? I had not seen her since I fainted. I panicked and got up. It hurt , but i had to find her. I stumbled around in the woods. I found her asleep, and careful not to wake her i turned around and made my way back to Jack. I was hungry. "I am going to find some food. You should get some rest." I said to Jack. I could smell a dead animal. Maybe without anyone protecting it i could drag it off.

blaze smiled. "okay," she woofed, thoguh she did nto want their time to end. "maverick, thanks again for being the best brute in the world. " she nuzzled him a bunch of times before stopping. "now, lets head back. lets finish this hike tommorow." she nuzzled him once more before starting to walk away, knowing he would follow. this was certainly the best day of her life.
