Don looked over at Lavender as she layed down - she probably thought that he was going to be too rough with Rose. He didn't want to risk hurting her, because she was such a small and pretty thing. Especially with the state her paw was in at the moment. Smiling sheepishly, he backed out of the stall, not sure of what to do with himself. Then an idea sprung up in his head. Now with a more loving smile, Don walked back in to the stall and gently picked Rose up by her scruff, then carefully placed her on his back and walked over to Lavender. "How about we go for a walk?" He suggested softly, nuzzling Lavender, and before she had even answered, he was at the barn doors, opening one rather tall door. Holding the door open for his mate, he stepped back a little, gesturing with one paw for her to go first - like a gentleman should. "Oh, and I believe the saying goes, 'ladies first'."

Annie smiled at Lucky and headed off after him. She only half looked for herbs. Honestly she just wanted to have a long walk with Lucky. If one of the other Lucky's showed up then who knew when she would be able to get the real Lucky back again. And once they found the pack she would have to go back to hunting for them. That would mean less time with her mate. She smiled again at his words and laughed a little. "Honestly, I guess I kind of was. But I would never have left you." She walked close to him making sure to walk on the side without the hurt shoulder. Their pelts brushed a little and she glanced at him. "I'm glad I wont have to sleep by myself tonight like I have been." She felt heat creep up to her face as she said the words. Somehow being near the real Lucky was much different from being around goofy Lucky. She then turned her attention to looking for some herbs. She looked at Lucky again still unable to believe they were mates. That he loved her. She stopped as she saw some poppy seeds. If she recalled correctly they helped with pain, however they did make one a bit sleepy. It was times like these that she wished she had learned more about herbs. She was about to pick one of the flowers, but she decided she would get it on the way back. Unless Lucky really was in pain. She looked at him. "Are you in much pain?" She had almost forgot Buck caused the cut. "I am sorry that Buck hurt you. You did provoke him though." She smiled a little.

Remi listened to Story and as he heard something outside he noticed Story seemed annoyed, or sad maybe. Was she really happy with him? She had said she loved him and wanted to be with him. But what if he was just someone she had settled for? He shook the thoughts away, if she was just settling with him then she wouldn't want pups. Right? He then listened to her words. He licked her cheek. "Of course I want some pups. I admit I have been thinking about it a lot lately. Who wouldn't want cute little fluff balls running around." He smiled as he thought again of having pups with story. They would be perfect, just like the mother. He watched Story and studied her, he sure was lucky to have her, and he was lucky that Maverick liked Blaze more. Or he would never have had a chance with this amazing fae.

Checkers smiled a little when Finn's pelt brushed his. He noticed her light blush and he smiled a little more. Did she really like him? Surely she did, why else would she blush and look away? He continued on to the pond his tail wagging just a bit as he was happy with the fact that Finn may like him as more then a friend. As the arrived at the pond he stopped just short of walking into the water. "How about a little game." He said as he placed his front paws in the water. "Last one to the other side of the pond has to tell the other something about themselves." He thought it would be a good way for them to get to know each other. If she agreed to it that is. He was very interested in finding out more about Finn. She seemed like a fun and sweet female. But he couldn't help but think there must have been something in her past that made her so shy toward the others. For he had not seen her talk to one of the others since coming to the pack. Surely it wasn't because she was mean, there didn't seem to be a mean bone in her body.

"I was thinking for the whole pack it might be nice to have a bit of a fun day. Celebrate all the things that have gone right. The new mates in the pack and finding a place that we can call home." She said to him with a small chuckle and wide grin pasted across her small muzzle as she spoke to him feeling like smiling whenever she talked to him. She was unsure, but let her guard down. She stepped closer and listened to his words. Playing them over and over again in her head. She tried to decipher them. She felt embarrassed when she finally got it. 'He loves me'. She did not understand this. She thought no one loved her. Then again she grew up that way. She then looked down and saw him drawing something. 'What could it be?' She thought to herself. Then seeing the shape after he was done it was a heart. She looked at Jack for awhile. Then replayed his words again. She smiled a little. "I like you to Jack. I love you, do you love me?" She layed down. Finally ready to sleep. He could answer her in the morning.

He was pleased to hear this, even though he knew she wouldn't have. But the image was still as fresh as his wound, a day old but still at the forefront of his mind. It had stung, whether he would admit it or not. He had never been so scared that he would lose her...But then at the mention of her not having to sleep alone, his tail wagged a bit more at the thought of cuddling with her, finally as himself and not his goofy self like the previous night. He glanced at her and saw the slight blush on her face, and this made an amused smile creeped onto his face. He leaned over and gave her a gentle nuzzle. "I love you." He said again, never getting tired of saying that to her, and he knew she would never get tired of hearing it. His ears perked as she asked about the pain, and he shook his head. "Only if I hit it on something or bend it the wrong way." He told her, then couldn't hide a chuckle at her last comment. "He started it, may I remind you. No one is going to flirt with you and get away with it on my watch. Plus, you know how I am when I'm like that...." He smiled lightly, not mentioning the fact that she had flirted with him in return. It was probably just part of her plan to make him jealous, but he didn't like that he had made her feel special before he had. Lucky caught her glance at the pretty poppy flower and, not knowing that it was an herb, bent over and carefully picked it, then turned to her and offered it with a sweet smile and a wag of his tail.

She was half relieved and half curious as Don put playtime to a stop, and she stood up to meet him. At the mention of a nice walk with both her loving mate and playful pup, she smiled and nodded. "Sounds perfect." She responded softly, but the brute was already almost out the door. She chuckled and followed after, her curled tail swishing softly behind her. Putting Rose on his back was a very good idea considering she needed to stay off of her paw, and this way she wouldn't get lost and they wouldn't have to leave her alone to spend some time together, exploring the new territory. Lav blushed a bit as he offered to hold the door open and to have her go first. She giggled softly and bowed her head politely. "Thank-you Sir." She responded, padding out the door with a bit of an excited spring in her step.

She smiled, and walked around, A bit tired and excited after the little herding session."I`ll be back." She said softly. She went to the doe Remi and her had killed earlier, and took a leg. She laid in the aisle, eating peacefully.

Rose let out an excited yip as Don crouched into a playful crouch, but she saw his eyes look past her before he left the stall. Her eyes followed him, a puzzled and slightly worried frown creasing her forehead. She had just turned to follow him when Don trotted back into the stall. She saw that his features were arranged into a loving smile, and the little knot of tension loosened. She suddenly found herself in the air, gripped carefully in Don's gentle teeth - it wasn't painful, but maybe a little uncomfortable - and then moved onto the pitbull's back. They were out of the stall and heading towards the door before Rose could get used to the altitude - she was a little scared, but she trusted her new father not to let her fall. His scent was all around her as she nestled into his thick fur, looking out of the door into the light, green world. She could see other dogs, and was a little wary of them, but she had Lavender - whose paws and voice she could hear behind her - and Don to protect her.

He remembered the times where he had once called Lavender 'Miss Lavender', but that was no longer necessary - besides, she would be 'mrs' Lavender now. I think. Remembering that he had Rose on his back, he paused for a second and smiled sheepishly. He had forgotten for a moment there. "You alright up there, Rose? Just hold on. I'll go slowly for you." He said softly, looking over his shoulder at the little puppy that was nestling in to his soft, white fur. "Perhaps if we find a river close by we could all take a bath. Well...I need one anyway." He looked at his bloody and dirty sides from his wounds with a smirk. "I'm sure Lavender doesn't want a smelly mate with her in public." At this joking comment, he looked at Lavender with a wag of his tail.
