Speaking to Shadow
Meadow smiled softly at Shadow's valiant efforts to cheer her up as the two wolves entered the clearing. Her limited attention was focused more on finding Literacy than her companion's humor at the moment. However, she did not spot the Healer right away, so Meadow decided to leave the chore to Shadow, since she was beginning to feel too tired to do much more walking or searching.
"Do you... see Literacy...?", she asked.

Crushing on Oak

He sighed softly when he realized that Oak was nowhere to be seen. He would try again some other time. For now, Ryuunosuke simply set his rabbit down in the center of the clearing and padded off to the far side of camp to have a rest after his hunt.
Lazily, he sat and gazed out at the wolves as they came and went, each concerned with their own jobs. The Pack of the Stars was an efficient pack, and he was glad to be a part of it.

The trip back to camp seemed much longer than it had taken to travel to the border. Kink was ashamed that the loner had bested him and stolen a chance to prove himself to his pack. In fact, it would probably only make him look bad to admit what happened. Sure, they would probably send out a party to chase out the loner, but that was not what Kink wanted. He wanted to be the one to win, so what should he do about it?
Kink puzzled over the situation the entire way back to camp. It was not until he was almost there that he came to any sort of conclusion, and even that was nothing decisive.
He was silent as he slipped through the trees and into the clearing, brow furrowed in thoughtful concentration.
