"For many centuries we've been constantly harassed and driven out of our prized nesting sites. We're only passive birds, unable to defend ourselves, and have been at war with the heartless Starlings... the scum of the avian world. For many centuries we've been forced out of our homes, regardless if we have chicks in our nests or not. For all that time, it seemed we had no hope to thrive anymore."
In a time of heavy, never-ending rain, cockatiels from far and from wide perched in the trees that bordered Long Creek. Wind buffeted the branches and tossed and shook the tiny little parrots, but they stood their ground, as tense and flighty as they were.
"We watched as they flew down toward us, we were severely outnumbered. In panic, the sentries sounded their alarm, but no one dared fly off. We all knew what they were capable of."
And to the relief of the Cockatiels, the Starlings perched in the trees across from them in dead silence. The largest of the flock perched atop the tallest tree and began to speak. 'We've come to realise how unfortunate you've all been,' she began, pinning each and every bird with her cold gaze. 'And so we're going to call a truce. You can all have your nesting sites back, so long as you allow us access to your watering spots.' she paused, waiting for one of the cockatiels to speak up. A brave young male flew up and perched where all could see him. 'Alright,' he began, his voice loud yet gentle. 'We accept your truce. But mark my words; should you dare break it, be prepared for the worst....'

Ｐｅｃｋｉｎｇ  Ｏｒｄｅｒ
Ｌｅａｄｅｒ
The role of the leader is to guide and keep
order of his or her flock. Leaders are in
charge of food and water scouting patrols,
marriage and keeping track of the flock's
health, population and well-being. Leaders
are responsible for the lives of their
flocks.
Ｄｅｐｕｔｙ
The role of the deputy is to protect his or her
leader as well as his or her flock. The deputy
is second-in-command of the flock but does
not necessarily become leader after the
current one dies or retires. Deputies rarely
if ever become leader. To be appointed as
deputy, a cockatiel must be at least 1 year
and 9 months of age. Deputies can be
replaced without hesitation at any point in
time.
Ｓｅｎｔｒｙ
The Sentry is the third most respected
member of the flock. His or her role
is to keep watch for any danger
from the sky and to alert the flock
with repetitive calls. Sentries must
have had at least two years of
experience before taking on an
apprentice. Apprentices do not
become sentries until their mentor
has retired.
Ａｄｕｌｔｓ
Birds are considered adults from the age
of 1 year until the age of 7 where they will
be retired as elders.
Ａｄｏｌｅｓｃｅｎｔｓ
Birds are considered adolescents up until
their 1st year. Adolescent birds are
forbidden to take a mate at least until their
first year of age.
Ｊｕｖｅｎｉｌｅｓ
From the day they open their eyes until
their 6th month, young birds are considered
juveniles by Law of the Flocks.
Ｅｌｄｅｒｓ
At 7 years and above, cockatiels are
considered as either senior adults (7-10y)
or elders (10y+) depending on their
general health and well-being. Birds can
be retired from the age of 2 and
onwards.

Ｐｒｏｐｈｅｃｙ  Ｂｉｒｄｓ 
The trio of birds, two females and one male,
are bound together like none other. The three have
had a long history together, despite one of
them coming from a different flock.
The first bird, eldest and leader of the
three, has many strengths and just as many
weaknesses. She may be a good fighter, but she
has a short temper. She's the fastest flier of the
three, but she could never be agile if she tried.
The second bird, second eldest and the brains of the
trio, tends to show more her weaknesses than her
strengths. Incredibly knowledgeable, but shy and
passive. She has the most stamina but is the
slowest flier of the three.
The third bird, youngest and most confident,
is the glue that keeps them together. He's sweet
and innocent, but not naive. Most agile flier
of the trio.

12. This role play is about wild cockatiels and is realistic, so realistically a domesticated (pet) cockatiel that has flown away would not survive long enough to find a flock of wild cockatiels, and chances are he/she would be rejected

The Long Creek
Marking the border between the East and the West, Long Creek is a popular gathering place where Cockatiels Australia-wide come to share news with each other and other parrot species, as well as to make the most of the refreshing water while it lasts before the dry season kicks in. By mid-December, the creek is devoid of any moisture and is lined with minuscule cracks.

Western Mountains Gum Tree
Located in the far west reaches of Australia, this immense gum tree has a trunk so wide it would take more than thirty of the largest cockatiels to completely surround it with their wings fully stretched, wingtip to wingtip. Home to the Western Flock, this huge tree has multiple hollows in its branches of varying sizes, just right for every pair who come to accommodate them and raise a family.

Tall Gum of the East
Located right in the centre of Eastern Australia, the Tall Gum of the East is the tallest gum tree in all of Australia. Home to the Eastern flock, this tree has only a few hundred hollows in its trunk and branches, but each of them are generously sized.

The Hunter's Camp
An area of twenty square kilometers located near to a small lake, where animals trespassing are usually shot down, or at least, shot at and shooed away. The people here are not animal friendly, making this a dangerous place for birds to visit.

The Lovers' Wood
A small wood, made up of Japanese Cherry Trees. A beautiful place to spend time with your mate or crush. Located in a small, unpopular botanical garden that has gone a bit wild over the years. A river runs alongside it.

Sunset Views Bay
Sunset Views Bay is a great saltwater lake in the point of the East Flock territory. A beautiful place also, with one or two trees next to it and a bench. Nearer to the water is a beach, a little more dangerous place for birds to be because of the dogs that people bring, but is still a good place to visit every once in a while.
