Flame pounded up the alpha rock, the highest point in the territory. The sun blazed down and lightened his dark coat and as he studied the land, feeling the sturdy rock beneath his paws. He watched Bone along the border stop and watched intently, wondering what was wrong.

Sierra awoke from the little nap and stretched her silver colored body. She then stood up right, her ears flickering for any signs of danger. When she was sure the coast was clear, she exited the den, her Caribbean blue eyes examining her surroundings

Katie huffed and watched the trespasser go before wagging her tail and smiling up at Bone. "Good job! Im sure whoever that was wont show their face around here for a while." She stared for a while before turning around and starting to pad back to the main part of camp, noticing the alpha was awake.

Cobra saw Sierra and smiled, lifting his head and wagging his tail slowly. "Good morning, alpha," he said kindly before tilting his head at the forest. Something was approaching, but he could easily scent it was Shining scent. Probably just a hunter or a patrol returning.

Flame saw Katie come back into the camp. He then jumped down off the alpha rock. He stretched a little and then eased into underneath a tree so he could be in the shade

Sierra looked over to Cobra and smiled kindly. "Morning alpha," she smiled lightly and sat down before him. "Any news regarding the Flaming Sun pack?" She asked him

Cobra chuckled, sitting up to see Sierra better. "No news that I know of. Is that good?" the elder teased.

Katie grinned at Fire and trotted over to him. "Good morning!" Her tail wagged happily and her personality was bubbly.

Sierra smiled and let out a small laugh. "Yes, I suppose so," she smiled softly, her kind blue eyes searching over the horizon. She let out a soft sigh. "We just don't need another attack," she stated. "The last one wiped out all of our food," she recalled

Flame looked over at Katie and chuckled at her bubbliness so early in the morning. "Good morning Katie," he said softly, nodding to her to acknowledge her presence

Bone

Bone nodded at Katie ' Well, I think she learnt her lesson! I just need to finish patrolling and theI will be back at camp.'

Katie huffed and watched the trespasser go before wagging her tail and smiling up at Bone. "Good job! Im sure whoever that was wont show their face around here for a while."

Silver

Silver desided no~one had heard her howl so she continued down valley towards the camp.

". Well, at least we don't have to worry about that for a while." Cobra smiled at his leader. "So, what are the tasks for today?"

"Everything doing okay?" Katie sat down and nodded back to respect her alpha. "Bone and I chased a trespasser off the border not to long ago."

Sierra looked out to the west. "We will form another pack hunt later today. The elk herd is coming up from the south, and are heading towards the camp. Well need to set up around noon," she said. "Would you like to help me get the word out?" She asked the elder curiously

Flame nodded softly and then looked at Katie. "So that's what you were doing," he said since he'd seen them when he was in top of the alpha rock. "Good," he said with a soft smile, but his eyes were cold as he glared toward the other packs territory

Katie smiled and looked where his eyes were directed before turning her head back to Flame. "I know she won't be back. We left her a mark to remember." She grinned at the memory of slamming the wolf's head to the cold earth.

"I'd be glad to!" Cobra slowly stood to his paws, rolling his shoulders and wagging his tail. "Where will we head off to first?"

Flame smiled more. "We'll done," he said with a pleased nod of his head. "I'm afraid I'll have to warn Sierra once more to keep her pack off the territory," he said with a soft sigh. "Like she'll listen," he mumbled to himself

Sierra smiled at Cobra lightly and stood up once more. "Perhaps to the east? If we head to the west the elk might smell us too soon and turn around," she said
