"Aww. Okay." She said and watched him. Bronze saw a little mouse and jumped at it, having it under her paw. She held it in her mouth and it squeaked.

Chrissy squeaked from Deep's shoulder. She buried her face in Deep's fur.

Bronze felt it squirming in her mouth. She closed tighter and liked the taste.

Chrissy whimpered and whined, "Stop!" the mouse shouted in perfect Wolf. Shadow yelped in shock, "It's the food chain, Chrissy." he said to hush the scared mouse.

Bronze flicked her ears over at Deep. She was confused.

[Locker-Neighbor]

"Chrissy. Doesn't like it when we," Deep lowered his voice so Chrissy could not hear, "eat mice."

"Oh." Bronze said, opening her mouth. The mouse was sitting in her mouth, cleaning its fur. "I ate the grasshopper." She mumbled through the mouse.

"Then what's the mouse doin' in your mouth? Cleaning it's fur is all, huh?"Deep said accusingly.

"Ummm. Yea!" Bronze said looking guilty.

"I was being sarcastic. That question was rhetorical."Deep said calmly,"Now I ought to be going. I'm going to go meet some friends fron Ruby Pack."he trotted out and vanished into the trees.
