Petal let out a deep breath as she relaxed and settled herself close to the brute, her eyes beginning to fade as she felt the warm sun begin to lower farther and farther down into the horizon as night began to start once more. The fae would normally feel uncomfortable in this situation since normally be by herself, but, for right now. She felt just fine and in doing so, she was perfectly fine with remaining wherever she was. "Brent...?" she began. "Are you... alright with this?" she questioned him, a bit unsure about how he truly felt. He had a past mate after all, and she was a tad bit worried that the brute might possibly feel a bit pressured and was just too nice to say so. She couldn't decide whether or not it was proper for her to move in on this brute whenever her past mate had such an unhappy ending. She wasn't particularly sure how it would affect him, and she was a bit worried about the matter.

Doth was still asleep. She was too exhausted to wake up at this point without being nudged or something, since she was sleeping so deeply.

Brent smiled, then shifted so he could look at her entire face. "Why would I not be okay with this?" He asked, a very serious expression on his face. He leaned forward, pressing his forehead to hers. He closed his eyes. "You mean Indie." He said, his expression slightly pained. "She-she would want me to be happy, Petal. And if she wouldn't, then she wasn't worth it in the first place." He said, opening his eyes again to see her reaction.

Petal felt him shift underneath her and her eyes fluttered open suddenly as she felt the brute's presence press up near her. Her gaze was welcomed as she felt the male wolf come up close and lay his forehead gently against her own. She couldn't help but pick up on his pained expression, and then heard his small stutter as he started his words. She couldn't help but lower her ears ever so slightly as she tensed up a bit. She would be lying if she were to say that she wasn't afraid of him storming off and changing his mind due to his past. Yet, his next few words eased her mind up a bit, as if they reassured her that everything was alright. "Are you sure?" she questioned him, looking at him intently and rather seriously. "The last thing I want is for you to feel like you have to choose between me and..... Indie." she uttered somewhat quietly. Her sapphire gaze returning his own curious stare, looking for his reaction to her words.
