Her eyes flickered over to Bella and then back at Jayden, "I don't pity you," she huffed, "I see no reason to." Kita didn't know why she would. After all, he didn't exactly have it rough. "I'm not really sure who you're crying about, but I have a nw member that is interested in joining the pack. I was just thinking of how you lead our pack in the attack just now, maybe you could be the alpha. I'm sure Winter would've wanted you to be."

He nodded and continued forward. He then thought to himself how he had just met this wolf and they were now practically friends. The feeling of friendship had long since left him so it felt good to have someone by his side once more. Shaking his head clear of thoughts he focused on the clearing ahead.


Kara walked quietly through the trees. She smelt her brother and another wolf. She could tell they had been here recently, she figured about an hour to 30 minutes ago. Before going further she smelt the air and scanned the terrain before her. She couldn't see her brother, but she could sure smell him. Thankfully the wind was in her favor, for now.

(Kara's open. She's near Balto and Cole by the clearing where the dead wolves are.))

Annabella
My ears fall to my head as I come out from behind Kita. I look at the brute. My eyes scan him as I look to the ground.

He picked up the pace slightly and glanced around the forest, not knowing where to start, Balto trotted forward. Seeing where nature would lead him. The wolf perked his ears to a strong bugling sound that eachoed around the forest. Balto stopped in his tracks, trying to figure out what made the sound. It was deeper than and elk and way bigger than a deer, "uh, Cole? What was that?"









She nudged Bella with a small smile, trying to reassure her that Jayden was a friend. Kita glanced back at the brute, "so what do you think? You can put her as fighter or hunter if you want? She's seeking refuge from a wolf," she announced softly.

Cole's eyes widened as he heard the sound. He had heard it before but not much. He swiveled his head in the direction of it. His ears were pushed all the way forward and he was alert. "I think it's a heard of caribou. I could be wrong though, I have only heard Caribou very few times, but that's my guess. Wanna look?" He asked with a spark of adrenaline in his eye.

His eyesbrow raised to the suggestion, "yeah, that sounds like it'll be fun," Balto smirked and began to follow the sounds. Sure enough he found that Cole was right. The wolf's lips smacked at a few Caribou calves, "you see that Cole?" Balto's muzzle pointed at one wobbly calf, "you want it?"

Jayden mumbled something under his breath and stood up,smiling at both of them"Sorry that you had to see me like that"he said and sighed"I had promised Winter to take her place"he said and smiled,tears threatening to spill out"Let's get back to the camp"he said and smiled at them"You can trust me,Bella"he smiled and started walking towards the pack grounds.

Cole trotted next to Balto. They reached the herd. He scanned the herd and seeked out the weak and new borns. He might not hunt well but he knows what to look for. Once the words left Balto's mouth he was already smirking. "Heck yeah! Let's go." He said as he got down low and began stalking forwards.

I look at Kita then to Jayden. "I-I-I'm Annabella." I say quietly. My voice shaking, but soft and beautiful. I look at the brute with a weak half smile.
