Glancing once more at Rain he cantered forward and skidded in front of the mare who had turned her back on him. "I'm not the best speaker in the world, I'll give you that but I need to protect my herd although it's small I can't afford to loose my mare."He said hoping to win her over it was true what he said and the honesty in his eyes confirmed it.

"On your island do all of your herd members look like you?"She asked she knew no other life than that of a wild horse living on the island captivity was a new concept for her as were the two legged monsters who she occasionally saw out in the ocean on strange machines.

Cheval decided to explore the forest. She was getting lonely, and Candace and Seattle posed no interest to her. Maybe I can join a herd! She thought with excitement.

Seattle snorted in amusement. "I don't live on an island! I live on a farm. And yes, most of the horses there look like me, although some have different colors. There are a few very big horses though."

As Royal walked away from the stallion. Both surprised and happy he did not snake her she continued on her way as she walked past the lake, hoping to find peace in the meadow.{sorry for the short post, I'm giving my dog a bath(:}

With a confused look on her face she turned her head to the mare once again "What's a farm? Was that the name of your island?" She asked struggling to cope with the theory of not living on an island and not being wild. At least her herd had variety like the herds here did that was one thing she understood.

[Rummy is on the border of the forest and meadow eating grass if any stallions want to try and get her in there herd.

Al-hadiye

Stallion - Chestnut - Six years old - Arabian

A few swallows of seaweed and Al-hadiye was on his way. He tossed his head and half-reared, turning away from the water's edge and trotting along the border of the trees once again. Al lifted his muzzle toward the air and whinnied, he was feeling lonely despite the many horses on the island and he wanted some company. The chestnut slowed to a walk, his ears perked as he crossed into the meadow. All at once his whole body language turned into a dynamic expression and he stretched out his neck, nickering at the spotted mare(Rummy) just yards away. " Hi there pretty lady." He pranced closer, though giving her a respectful distance.

By this point she would usually be disapeering into the forest without looking back but she thought she could deal with this one and keep her grazing spot. "Get lost, looser."She muttered through a mouthful of fresh grass, with any luck he would get the message and be on his way that was, however unlikely knowing the stubbornness of most stallions on this island.

Royal stopped and perked her ears forward with interest, her golden speckled brown eyes studying him. "Say I do join your herd.. How do I know you won't turn into one of those crazy jerks right after I agree to accompany you and your mare..." The words followed from her mouth with ease as she walked past him, nearly brushing up against him but she was sure to keep a respectful distance between the two of them. Once she in front of him she returned her gaze back to him before turning and facing him, almost feeling comfortable in his presence.

A small smirk almost appeared on his face when the mare began to show interest in him, even if it was more like an interrogation she was still paying attention to him. "Well, I might be a little over protective but I'm not a jerk. If I was a jerk do you really think Rain would look so happy and do you really think I wouldn't have just snaked you right then when you started to walk away?" The same honesty glittered in his eyes when he spoke he couldn't believe that he could finally have a shot at a real herd. A real family once again.

Cheval heard loud whinnies echoing from all parts of the forest. She broke into a canter, jumping over logs to get to the source of the noise. She neighed loudly, hoping someone would hear.

"No, silly!" Seattle replied to Candace. "A farm is a large, lush meadow with buildings and other horses that belong to the humans!"

Al snorted and stepped back a step. "Hmph. Fine then..I'll go." His tail flicked and he turned slightly. "I'll just trot back to the shore and leave you to your loneliness as well." The stallion glanced back at the mare, a sly look on his face." Or I can try to snake you, but I'm fairly sure you'll put a hoof to my chest." Al nickered and pawed the ground. "But I'm in a good mood. So instead I'm going to stay right here, miss lady, if you don't mind." His tone held a hint of stubbornness, but his eyes had that twinkle of playfulness."I'm Al-hadiye, or Al if you prefer. I doubt you'll give me your name but at least you know mine."
