Doe glared at Jax when he charged at Devil. When he nudged her, she nipped him, a clear signal: Go away! I can handle this myself! When he went back to the other mares she tossed her head happily, then returned to glaring at Devil. "Well? Do you?"

The Stallion pinned his ears, Walking back to Doe, and nipping her rump hard. He gave her a nudge with his knee, and unusal thing to do, But hey! It usually got mares going. He bit her again, And told her to get on.

Doe bucked in his face when he nipped her rump. She kicked him in the knee when he nudged her and bit him back when he bit her. "You're not the boss of me!" She snorted angrily, head high.

"Oh ytes I am!" He snapped. He bit her again, Whacking her good with his head. He pinned his ears, Ramming into her with his chest, Sending her on her way.

Doe struggled to dig her hooves into the ground, but it was no use against the big stallion. She nipped him again. "Who died and made you king?!" She snapped.

"Well Who is Lead stallion here?!" He snapped. He pushed harder, trying to make her go.

Aurora watched, letting out varied and spread-apart nickers and snorts of amusement.

Doe was sliding along on the ground, even with her hooves dug in. Suddenly she sidestepped, hoping he'd fall. "Who needs stallions, anyway?" She grumbled under her breath, but loud enough that he could hear.

Devil Fire

When the stallion tried to nip him, Devil kicked Jax lightly, telling him to back off. Doe had just come too close and Devil had just warned her not to come further. Nothing else to it. He felt like shouting something to Jax like keeping his brood under control, as she was shouting pretty rudely.

Devil ignored her, not giving her an answer. He knew full well that he didn't control the lake, what he protected was the herd, not the lake or he'd have run everyone clear of it. So only was the mare not making sense, she was also making a fool of herself. Devil didn't answer fools.

Looking at Bird, she seemed that she was a little tense, but for the most part she allowed it. Devil was fine with that. As he finished grooming her mane, he nudged her gently, further away from the lake before he drifted there himself, moving his herd further away from the lake and the fight that was occuring. He didn't want his herd getting caught in the crossfire. Having moved Bird closer to Electra, he then moved on to the smaller mare, nuzzling her before grooming her quietly. He liked grooming others, as it let him know his herd better without being invasive.
