The Quarter Horse stallion stood up, Having dozed off a little while. He was growing impatient with Seattle, And decided to move his herd further to a larger lake. He nickered to Candace and Kachina, Beginning to Walk towards the forest. Jax then Saw Doe, Nickering Softly to her/.

Doe:
Doe heard a nicker and glanced up. She froze when she saw a stallion. Slowly taking a step away she nickered quietly back. She noticed horses behind the stallion and figured they were his mares. She nodded to them. "Hi. I'm... Doe."
((I don't care if she has a foal or not. I can wait to next spring if its easier. And sorry, I had a friend over.))

Devil Fire

Devil awoke, seeing Electra and Bird, he nuzzled the both of them before starting to graze. He smiled at Bird's like of nature, she would be a good mother. He watched her every so often, but other than that gave her her space, though he was ready to rush up if anything went wrong. He flicked his tail, watching both his mares. Soon, he would lead them to the lake, but right now he let them just relax in the crisp morning air.

[Catastrophic]

Buck watched 2 of his mares wake up. He yawned again and nibbled at the grass "were are you going?" He asked serpendipity more in curiosity than anything else.he was going to move the herd down to the lake where the fresher grass was and where they could cool of from the heat. It was already warm and it only got hotter from now until dusk.

Electra nickered to her band stallion when he approached she then trotted of into the shade to graze some more.

Bird looked over her shoulder at the stallion as if saying she wasn't going far she just wanted some space. The mare moved through the forest some more until she found a nice shady spot. She could still see the rest of her herd she just wanted to be alone. And if anything was too happen, which was unlikely to a mare who wasn't in heat, she would fight. She could take care of herself, but with the foal coming she knew that would change so she had to take the chances while she could.

The mare grazed when she heard a voice. The nokota's head snapped up and looked back her eyes wide. It was just Buck. She gave him a soft smile. "Oh I was wondering when we would head down to get some water." she said her throat dry making her voice slightly horse. The mare took a few steps towards her stallion, she didn't want him to think she was leaving but she was awfully thirsty. It had bee a day or two since she had water, not wanting to dare head to the lake. Now she felt more comfortable with her herd and the lake didn't sound all that bad.

"ok" Buck smiled "I was going to move the herd down there anyway" he said letting out a whinny to his herd and starting to walk.

Devil Fire

Devil nuzzled Electra, but other than that left his two mares alone, seeing as Bird was too far away to reach anyway. He didn't mind though, and nickered to Bird gently, telling her it was okay but also telling her to stay close as he was going to move the herd soon. He flicked a ginger tail, watching the sky. They'd move in a while, when the sun was at it's highest point. It would be more relaxing to spend the hottest part of the day at the lake after all, not to mention they were pretty close to the lake already.

After taking his nice little nape the stallion woke up going back onto all fours. Now that he was well rested the horse looked around. He knew many bands were going to the lake but they had a small stream right next to them. He looked off into the forest seeing Rummy wandering around. He nickered for her to stay close but wasn't worried about the mare. Not after the fight he put up last night. He looked over his heard. "Do you want to stay here or take the risk and go to the lake?" he asked. It was their choice as much as his.

Bird nickered back, telling her band stallion that she wasn't far and she could join up with them soon. She mare gave one last playful buck before cantering back towards her herd. She stood on the edge of the group, not wanting ot see too closed in. She could still run if she wanted to but as the days went by she found herself happy to be in the herd. It was probably just the hormones kicking in but she was happy none the less.

The mare nodded and when Buck tolled the other two that they were going she started walking towards the watering hole. The mare knew where the lake was, she had spent enough time there as a lone mare to know. Serendipity wasn't happy in leading but she was thirsty and she was determined to get to the water as fast as she could. So she put up with being in the front her ears rotating around to listen to all the other things going on in the world around her.

Rummy's head turned when she heard the stallions question she quickly swallowed the parts of shrub she had been eaten and replied "Well, if no one else want's to I'm going alone" she called heading down the trail towards the lake ignoring his previous warning. She could fend for herself and he knew that very well.

Electra saw bird and nickered softly before walking over she hadn't spent much time with the mare and she thought a little bit of friendly conversation wouldn't do any harm after all they were in the same herd and pretty soon their foals would be playing with each other.

Buck walked behind his mares making sure they didn't fall behind or get snaked from the rear plus it allowed him to watch over all 3 at once.

Soul looked back at Rummy. He listened to the mare and thought about telling her to be careful. But her heat scent was gone, she was his, and he knew very well that she could take care of herself. He snorted in frustration but called after the mare. "Just watch yourself. We'll meet you down there." the lake wasn't far from where they were. He looked back at the two other mares and the foal. "Lets go." he said to them going behind Chevy and Song and noesing the them gently towards the trail that lead down to the lake. He wanted to walk behind his mares so he could keep watch over them and prevent them from being snaked. He kind of doubted any stallion would be interested now that they were covered but Soul wasn't taking any chances.

The mare looked up when yet another horse called to her. Expecting it to be Devil she was about to shoot back another response when her eyes fell on the the mare in front of her. Electra. Bird had heard Devil talking to her and the paint mare figured she'd be a good horse to hang out with. She was all ready happy that the stallion wasn't bothering her and besides Bird needed some mare time. "Hello, I don't believe we have properly met. I'm Bird." the mare said her light tail flicking around her legs and side getting the flies away. It was morning and it was all ready getting pretty hot.

Serendipity looked back at the rest of her herd. She was pretty far up a head of the others but she it was quiet so she didn't worry to much. The mare looked up and smiled as the Lake came in to view. She figured Buck would be okay with her going a bit a head, it wasn't like she would run away. So the nokota picked up speed, a nice quick trot and headed down to the water. There weren't any other horses yet so she figured it would be okay to take a dip while the lake was clear.
