Soul gave a loud whinny as the mare fought back fearfully. Okay, so maybe she was s pretty good fighter but he could handle her. The stallion shot his head back when she bit his ear. He could feel the tip of his back ear throbbing and the hot blood as it ripped onto his head. Soul didn't care, he had gotten worse scares from fighting stallions. The arabian dropped his head, his ears back as he herded the mare towards his little group. When she swung out to bit him again Soul was ready. He hopped back and moved to her other side nipping her side and pushing her over with his shoulder.

Bird flicked her tail and let the stallion nuzzle her. To be honesty she still wasn't the happiest mare being tied down to a stallion but she was rid of that annoying heat and she would have a foal. Her tail flicked slightly, and she couldn't help but smile. She would be a mother, and as amazing as it is that was something Bird has always wanted to be.

For most horses Serendipity wouldn't let them touch her. But she figured that buck could groom her, he was her band stallion after all. She swung her head back and a little up to groom the stallions tall neck. Next to him she realized just how short she was. The nokota sighed buck continued to groom her stallion. Wasn't like she had much else to do, besides it helped her gain more trust in the the horse that would father her second foal. I just hope I don't mess this up. She thought. She didn't want to loose another foal. The last one was her own fault, and she had never seen the stallion since.

Tail Blazer continued roaming around the meadow as he couldn't help but think about his son. Hatred in his eyes as he wished he hadn't let Song go as well as his son. Trail needed something to get his loss of his mind, a mare of his own could help but most mares were pregnant by now or with a foal and ripping a mare and foal away from a stallion like what had happened to him, he couldn't do to anyone else. Letting out a huff of air as he tried thinking about something else, the Friesian looked around the area, watching the horses around him.

Rummy's hind legs flew out wildly as the stallion switched sides he really was going to have to fight for her. She didn't have alot of choice as to her direction so she continued towards the herd still bucking and biting wildly at the stallion and trying to put him of.

Buck continued grooming the mare and let out a soft nicker before he stopped content with his little herd. He liked the mares to have freedom but it was getting late and he didn't feel safe with his mares roaming in the open in the dead of night. Softly he nudged Dipity in the direction of the clearing which Rain had found and was standing in he didn't want to force or threaten her.

Candace smiled "maybe we should get back to the clearing" she suggested keeping Kachina pressed closely against her side as she walked expecting to see her friend, Seattle waiting with her own foal.

Devil Fire

As Devil grazed quietly, he looked around. It was getting dark, so it wasn't too safe to be out in the open. Nickering to his mares, he trotted towards the forest, where the trees would provide some protection.

Soul felt some of his skin tare as the mare nipped at him wildly. The stallion needed to put her in her place. Soul gave another loud whinny as he bucked. He aimed his hooves for her side hoping to push her over with the kick. He only bucked once before he went back to bitting, his head low and ears back. He could feel were here hooves hit. His coat stung when he moved and he knew that he had more then just one spot of red on him not. His neck went back out as he bit her side and legs again. He wouldn't back down to this mare and when he was finished she would respect him.

The smaller pain mare looked up as her band stallion lead them into the forest. With a small snort Bird followed along. She still wasn't in the best mood, being tolled what to do and all, but there wasn't much she could do now. She slipped into the trees and when she figured she was far enough under cover the mare laid down in the warm tropical grass. She whinnied to Devil to tell him she was there before closing her eyes to rest.

Serendipity felt calmed when the stallion stopped grooming her. She pulled away to stand by his side looking up to him for guidance. The mare wasn't one to do anything with out her superiors' approval. The mare considered herself lower on the herd hierarchy and didn't want to do anything to throw off the herd. She was all ready scared about ruining the line of a stallion but she didn't say anything. When Buck nosed her he moved towards the small field where he wanted her. The mare walked a few steps a head of him and soon found herself back next to rain. The small nokota dropped to the ground like a stone. She was tired and needed her rest.

[Catastrophic]

Buck wandered of towards Royal trying to bring her back to the herd with a soft nudge on the side.

Rummy felt 2 hooves hit her side and snorted angrily she slid to a stop spinning away from the stallions jaws and pawing her front hooves out to keep him away, if he wanted to fight then she was going to give him a fight.

Electra followed her herd and lay a few steps away instantly collapsing in a heap and falling into a deep sleep.

Souls snorted angrily and whinnied slightly. His head darted forward and he bit her side trying to tare at her skin. The arab stallion snorted as he felt more hooves against his side. His entire left side was bruised and throbbing but the stallion was determined to win. His back hooves left the ground again kicking out at the mare. He didn't care if he hit her any more. As long as she moved towards the small clearing where her heard was, he was happy. The stallion thrust forward again hopping to force the mare back more.

Sweet Serendipity fell into a dark sleep. The mare shook slightly in her sleep. The events from just about a year ago flashed behind her closed eyes.

[Catastrophic]

The mare took an unexpected lunge for the stallion when he became more pushy she flattened her ears and let out a piercing whinny throwing out both of her front hooves almost in a lunging rear towards the stallion.

Soul's ears remained pinned back against his head. As the mare reared forward pushing him back Soul stubbornly stood his ground kicking his back legs out at the mare. He could feel her hooves against his skin ripping up his side but all Soul did was snort as he tried to bite the mare. Soul was hurting, his ear and side ached but he didn't want to back down, he couldn't afford to loose this mare that he fought.
