Devil shrugged. "Because I told you mine. It's a fair enough trade, in my opinion." He said curtly, looking at the mare. The fiery chestnut swished his ginger tail, his flame-coloured pelt gleaming as he waited for her answer. He watched her quietly, if she ran, he would snake.

Soul watched Song as the mare cantered a head. In all surprising ways the stallion actually didn't mind when his mare left his side to go run around. As long as there were no other stallions around and he could see them they could run as much as they wanted. He didn't want to feel like he was keeping them on a leash and they could only go so far. Finally the stallion led his small herd to the little river. "You can go pretty much where ever you wish, as long as another stallion isn't around and I can see you at all times." he informed his band. He didn't want to tie them down to much. he looked at Chevy wondering what was going through the mares mind. He could smell her heat sense and he was sure any stallion in the area could as well.

Bird snorted in disagreement. Her dark eyes glanced back and forth looking for a place to bolt. She didn't have much of an option here. Her only hope was that the stallion backed down, but for some reason she doubted that would happen. "Frankly I don't fine that a fair trade at all, but I guess I'll let you know. I'm Bird, and you will call me such." though the pain mare wasn't the tallest horse she still looked the stallion right in the eye. "Now that you know my name I will go, thank you for the chat but I have other things that are much more important." she pivoted quickly and began to walk off hoping that the stallion wasn't following. This was her only option, besides fighting, but she wanted to save that for the end.

Sweet Serendipity watched as the gypsy vanner made her way closer. Thats when the nokota mare spotted the other horse. Serendipity froze as the stallion came to view. Memories raced through her mind and the mare stayed still. She wasn't about to run and get snaked, she would see what the stallion wanted first. She figured he had seen her and there was no getting away now.

Devil smirked. Queer name, that was. He didn't comment though, seeing as she was still speaking. As she looked him in the eye he looked right back, unafraid of a challenge. As she left, he smirked, cutting her off. "Im sorry, but I don't think I can let you do that." He replied, looking at her. "I approached you to ask you to join my herd, and I do so now. Will you join my herd? If not, keep in mind I will snake you, though of course, I would love it if you came willingly."

The mare stopped where she was. She looked over her shoulder and chuckled slightly turning so she was facing the stallion a bit more. "Join your herd? Let me think... Thats a no." The mare brushed her tail from side to side teasing him ever so slightly and keeping the flies off of her legs. "Listen, as you can see I am doing quite well on my own. So, tata for now. Oh, and if you try and snake me I will not be afraid bite and kick." the mare turned her back on Devil once more. She knew the stallion would try and come, forcing her to join him. But she was ready to bit and kick for her freedom.

The moment Bird felt teeth on her coat she bucked. Her back legs flew out from under her and kicked out. She didn't care if she hit the stallion of not, her goal was just to force him away. The mare went from a quick walk to a canter. She made a sharp turn looking over her shoulder to see if the pesky horse was still there. She halted again quickly pivoting to make a fast turn. Her legs slid out from under her and she fell rolling on the ground a few times before forcing herself up. Bird took a few deep breath in and out and looked at her now scraped legs. There wasn't much she could do now, running wasn't an option it looked like she was trapped.

As the mare kicked out, Devil felt her hooves grace his withers, but he payed it no attention, continuing to stay right at her heels. When she finally fell and he towered over her, he snorted, looking at her. He touched his nose to her neck, memorising her scent and symbolising that she was his now. He would lead her back to the herd, but he had the feeling she might run again the moment she recovered, so he tapped her rump authoritatively, wanting to cover her. When she was covered, she would have his foal, and thus wouldn't run.

As her new band stallion's muzzle rested on her neck, Bird had to hold back the urge to bite him. When he moved she relaxed a bit, but her tension quickly returned. When she felt his muzzle on her rump, she couldn't hold it in anymore. Her ears when back and she let out an angr snort kicking out one of her soar back legs. She quickly turned her rump so it was away from the stallion. "I will join your herd, but I was not have let you cover me now. That is my choice not yours." her eyes narrowed as she watched the stallion. He wouldn't force her to have his foal, he all ready forced her into his herd she was down being tolled what to do.

Devil pinned his ears, giving the mare a nip. Sighing though, he decided to allow it for now. By her words she didn't sound like she would run. "Fine." He finally muttered, before he nudged her as he started walking, going back towards his herd. Seems like both the mares he had gotten were spirited. Devil decided he rather liked it, as that meant he didn't have zombies in his herd, but it took a lot more work. She didn't look like she would run now, though.

Going back to the herd, he nodded at Electra. "Electra, Bird. Bird, Electra." The muscular stallion introduced with a soft snort, before dropping his head to graze. He was happy that they were theirs, but as long as they were still in heat, a stallion could snake them, so he really wanted to cover the both of them for that reassurance. Not that he couldn't fight other stallions off, but he would like some foals to his name and he didn't want to get into fights that could be prevented. Besides, mares often wanted to get rid of their heat. So, he found it a little queer but let it go. He would wait.
