Piper wandered along the rubble, making sure her paws didn't step on anything sharp and break the skin. She panted slightly; she'd been wandering for some time, and was getting tired. She hadn't seen any dogs in quite some time, and hoped she was going in the right direction.
Chase laid down in front of his owners house. He still remembered it from before he was stolen, and worked hard and long to get back to it. He had hoped that his family would still be there, but in his heart he knew that they would be gone. He had just arrived and was exhausted, and alone.
