Dusk's ears swiveled as he thought he had heard hoof beats, another horse must have been nearby. He snorted softly and turned slightly, spotting a mare, Catalyst, nearby. Like any stallion, Dusk was interested. The stallion nickered lowly and sped up to a gallop as well, darting after the mare.

Dream slowed slightly, ears pricking as she heard a whinny. The black mare blinked, her brown eyes scanning the area and her gaze resting on a bay stallion nearby. He seemed to be a bachelor since he didn't have any mare around him. Dream smirked, her scented tail flicking as she halted, whinnying in response to the stallion.

Catalyst looked behind her to see a stallion galloping her way, she didn't see any mares around here so she assumed he wasn't in a herd, which means if he was interested she would be the first if she felt interested. Her scent came off in waves as she did her own kind of dance in the field, she would gallop in circles, trails were laid out from the past year of her doing this, this was her quiet place, her zone. She whinnied to the stallion behind her that was gaining on her.

Zodiac let out a loud nicker as he raced down the hill towards the mare. Smelling her scent it made him excited and he let out another whinnie.

Dusk's nostril's flared slightly as he caught the mare's heat scent, causing him to become more determined to get her. He let out a low nicker and then lowered his head, his ears laid flat against his head as he got into the snaking position, ready to snake the mare and claim her as his own. Unlike some stallions who would try to court the mares into their herds he preferred to snake, it was quicker and easier for him.

Dream stood still as the stallion came down to meet her, her head high as she studied him carefully. He was a handsome stallion, and he seemed to be strong as well which could be a bit troublesome if she tried to run away. She let out a nicker to the stallion as he approached, her ears flicking back and forth.

Zodiac flicked his ears, he was interested and decided to show off, he ran at full gallop around the mare and whinnied loudly, he bucked into the air and trotted around her once more, he stood infront of her and reared back on his hind legs again.

*Catalyst*Lone*mare*4*

Catalyst sped up, kicking dust up behind her as she darted off, recognized his snaking technique. If he was truly a good band stallion he would catch up to her and overpower her. She whinnied behind her and kicked at the grass as she darted around the oak tree.

Dream snorted softly, watching the stallion as he began to show off to her, and though she wouldn't admit it, she was impressed. As the stallion stopped in front of her she paused for a moment, studying the stallion for a bit then speaking. "Hello there," she greeted, her tail flicking "Who are you?"

Dusk's eyes narrowed slightly, noticing as the mare sped up. That wouldn't stop him though, he was determined to start a herd so he was not going to lose this mare. He sped up as well, carefully to run at a steady pace so he wouldn't go too fast and get tired quickly.

Zodiak shook his head, "I am Zodiak" he replied, taking several closer steps. "And you?" he stood up to his full height, he was taller than the mare by 2 whole hands. he grinned, knowing that it would be hard for her to get away from him now.

*Catalyst*lone*mare*4*

Catalyst kept up a strong and fast pace, but she could feel it already tiring her out, she had been running a while even before the stallion got her, she slowed herself slightly but noticed she was still ahead of the stallion. She nickered loudly and cut a left into the pasture.

Dream blinked, having to lifted her head slightly to look at the other stallion in the eye. She began to grow a bit nervous, most bachelors she messed around with were young and not as strong, yet this one was tall and strong, and she was beginning to doubt that she would be able to get away. "My name is Dream." she nickered quietly, watching him carefully.

Dusk continued after the mare, growing slightly tired due to the speed he was running at but he still had enough energy to keep him going. He blinked, making a sharp turn and almost losing his balance as Catalyst turned but he managed not to fall and continued to run after the mare.

Zodiak walked around, examining the mare, he kept watch though, for any signs or tenseness that she might dart away. "The name suits you very well" He nodded, walking once more around. He lowered his head and pinned his ears back. "You do not belong in a herd?" he walked behind her.

*Catalyst*lone*Mare*4*

The young mare was impressed, he had kept up with her shenanigans for a while, she just needed one more route, she darted off and kicked up full speed, she looked back and nickered, her scent was getting strong. She darted off down a hill to where a large and wide river was, she was his if he could follow her that far, she neared the river and at the right time she bent down mid stride and kicked up with her powerful muscles and jumped. She landed with a splash on the other side of the bank, she pranced around tail high in the air.

Dream gave the stallion a slight now, watching him warily as she walked around, her ears pinning slightly as the stallion seemed to be snaking her. She snorted and walked forward, her tail flicking as she glanced back to him. "Yes...I have no herd and you seem to be a bachelor."

Dusk snorted softly as he kept running after the mare, surprised she has been running for this long. He was a fast stallion and was usually able to catch up to the mare and stop them, but he was having a bit of trouble with this one. Panting slightly, he sped up again and followed, ears pricking as he spotted a river. Sure he was fast, but not exactly a jumper. As he reached the river, he hesitated for a moment, unsure if he could do it but at the last moment he jumped. He landed a bit awkwardly, but he managed to get over to were Catalyst was. He walked out of the water and nickered lowly to her, moving into a steady trot.

The black dappled mare swished her white tail to get rid of a few pesky fly. She knew why he asked her if she was alone. Time to play a trick. She thought. "Alone? Why would I be alone." Destiny couldn't help but have a small smirk. "My herd is only a few miles back. " Of course this all was a lie, she didn't even have the scent of other horses on her. If Phantom could figure this out she will allow herself to be in his herd.
