~Dark Lady~
The dark gruella mare was all by herself, as was typical for her, being not only a loner but not the most friendly of horses. She was hiding her body within the cover of shadows given off from the trees that she was standing between, her dark coat easily helping her dissapear, although her mane and tail stood out a bit. Her dark brown orbs were constantly glancing all around, her ears swiveling every which way at every waiting moment, completely aware of anyone that would approach. She wasn't the sort of mare that really wanted a herd, she preferred to be on her own, and was ready to bolt at so much as a sniff of a nearby stallion.
~Phantom's Spirit~
As much as the light-colored massive stallion wanted a herd, he always had to be careful about the mares that he would bring into it, for he being as large as he was, could easily injure a small mare on accident. It was most certainly a hassle in his oppinion, but he never let his spirits get down, and as the sunlight hit his pale goat, causing it to glisten, he reared up on his hind legs, front hooves pawing at the air in a challanging way, as he let a loud whinny scream out of his mouth, shaking the trees as he thundered back down onto four legs, and taking off at a gallop, set to find at least one mare to start his herd that day.
