Sugar followed him her curled tail wagged "You don't know Shiloh better than me. She's my sister." She looked at him as they walked out

"Alright, maybe just as much as you. But I do know her pretty well. Im her best friend, and I helped her through when Pheonix was a complete jerk....so yeah." Chase gave Sugar a sweet smile before starting to walk down the hall to where the elevators were.

Sugar smiled rolling her eyes "But what did Phoenix do? He seemed so kind and protective over his pups." Sugar frowned

Russ bounded into the forest sniffing the air. He suddenly found himself by a coyote den. He sniffed the air, cocking his head to one side. The scents of a pair of adult coyote and their pups were fresh, but they were no where to be seen. Curiously, he sniffed the air.


Belle froze. "Coyote pups!" She yelped. "Their parents will shred us!"


Violet shrieked and ran after her brother, but fell behind immediately. She fell flat on her face and yelped. When she got up, she was lost. Lucas was nowhere to be seen. Trembling she walked until she found the den.....with a huge white dog by it! She gave a loud blood curdling shriek and stared at the dog who almost fell onto his back with surprise.

"Well, he left Shiloh in a tough time and I was the only one around to help her. He was never there in the room when I came over, and he rarely stayed in the hotel. Nowadays he likes to be protective, but he is still my enemy. He didnt like me, and I didn't like him. But he betrayed Shiloh and the pups by leaving without anything about what was going on. I get that he is back now, but you can't change the past." Chase took a breath and looked at his paws as he walked. "You probably don't like me now, huh, because I hate your brother-in-law."

Koda ran out the door and caught up with them she panted"Hi mister Chase."she almost fell

"Woah pup, you need to go home. Sugar and I wanted a walk alone. Is that okay?" Chase gave a small smile to Koda. "Maybe I'll take you to the park later." He nuzzles her neck in a brotherly way before nudging her back home.

Koda leaped back to him and whined"Me wanna go with you!!!!"she bounced around him

Sugar smiled "Koda go home your daddy's there." As she thought over what Chase said Phoenix hasn't been there for Shiloh making her take care of the pups alone when Koda loved running off without tell anyone "I don't dislike you Chase it's just now I see my brother-in-law diffrently."

"Is that a good thing or a bad thing?" Chase asked worriedly, gazing into the akita's sweet eyes. He was scared that soon enough Shiloh's entire family would hate him, one way or another.
