Jace picked himself up off the ground, and flexed his paws, crouched back as if scared, and darted forward, a white-brown blur. His tail dragged across the ground behind him, his paws thrumming against the ground. He listened to the nearly silent pattern of his paws, and found himself in front of the pool. He cocked his head, and dived in, paws skimming the bottom.
