Dash sighed and moped around, looking for something to do. Now that his mate was gone, along with two of his pups, he was heartbroken. Her humans had taken them, and she had told him to move on, they were not mates anymore. This had shocked and scarred Dash, he was no longer the energetic, playful pup. He was...dead. Yes. His spirit was dead.


Lucky padded around, spotting his father. He whined and gazed at his father, his tail drooping. Poor father. He's heartbroken. It's all mommy's fault too! He thought angrily, a snarl catching in his throat. Turning, he walked away from his father, he could not bear the sight of him, crestfallen.


Sapphire dodged her brother as he walked past, anger in his eyes but his tail drooping. She sighed. She knew why he was angry. Mother surely had her reasons...right? Shaking her head, she made her way to the cafe.


Nix & Velox were still awed by all the food. While Velox ate greedily and hungrily, Nix took dainty bites of her meal, taking her time. When she finally finished, Velox was finishing his fourth serving. Velox burped and was about to ask for more, but Nix bared her little shiny white fangs at him. "NO!" She barked. "No more food for you Velox!" Velox whined but obeyed as if his sister were his mother.
