Jay looked out side of the den and sighed as the bright sun began to shine through the thick cover of trees. She stared outside and quietly muttered "Was his father your mate?" Jay asked quietly and emotionless as she often did when troubled.

Bane perked his ears hearing that it was a male. "Oh so it is another guy? Hmm, who's the lucky wolf that gets to be graced by you?" He chuckled, trying to cover up his jealousy. I can't believe that he actually likes someone. What if it is me... Doubt it, who would like me anyway? I mean I am pretty much a jerk half of the time and he did say it's the personality that counts. He mentally smacked himself for not being nicer, but his personality was him and he couldn't change it.

Bane had to stop his jaw from dropping right there and then. He couldn't have heard him right, could he? "You're kidding right?" He asked unsure of what else to say, because he had to be lying. "How could that even happen? I mean I'm a jerk majority of the time, so I don't really know how that works out.." Wow this was totally new to him. He couldn't recall when someone even liked him enough like that.

Bane smirked. "I don't care about that. But don't go thinking everyone should be the same." He huffed and his smile started to fade a little. "She-wolves aren't my thing." He was kind of disgusted at the thought and it wasn't long before he felt a shiver moving down his spine. "And don't go going all soft on me. I am still myself and I intend to keep it that way."
