Foster's blush only flourished more under his coat. "Oh, I know, I'm just not used to your kindness. And Leo sounds like a pretty nice wolf. I'd like to meet him, once he gets back, if you don't mind. It's nice to know I'm not alone." Foster spoke softly, a certain amazement he'd never had in his tone before showing in his voice. It reminded him of Alice. She had accepted him and left the pack. But when she disappeared it broke him all over agian. He always wondered what had happened and where she went. Sighing, Foster turned to Ruben. "You know, you remind me of Alice. She was the only one who liked me for me, but one morning I woke up and she was gone. It looked like she had fought something, but I wasn't sure. But forget that. I just...I'm happy to know you accept me for me." Foster rambled, face hot as he looked down at the ground once more.

Ruben smiled wider, he was happy that Foster thought of him as someone good. Honestly, he wished he could have told Foster that he reminded him of an old friend, but he never really had any. "He is very kind, and I'm glad that I remind you of someone who was open-minded." He stated truthfully. Knowing that he would most likely be accepted into the pack, he hoped that this possible friendship wouldn't change once Foster realized that he was most likely of lower rank. I should probably just tell him now and save myself from getting too close. He thought, tossing around the idea of letting him know ahead of time. "We are almost there." He said quietly as he was still not sure if he should say anything.

Foster nodded, smiling at the answer he recieved. "Okay. Are there...are there many wolves in this pack? Or are there just a few?" He asked, hoping that there weren't too many. Foster was very claustrophobic and didn't like crowds. Too many people in one place made him feel trapped, scared, intimidated. They were things to avoid to him. Everyone used to crowd him and yell things at him, beat him or push him to the dirt when they walked past. He always got the least to eat, and hardly ever had a chance to leave camp to get a drink from the river. Luckily Foster was able to leave, no, escape and now he had met everyone here. And for that he had to be thankful.

Ruben's tail twitched as he considered his question for a moment. "Not many, thankfully. He replied as he stopped at the entrance of camp. It was upsetting to think that their mini friendship might end once Leo asked him or assigned him what rank he would be. "Um, we're here." He stated quietly before continuing a little louder, "I hope you'll still talk with me even though I'm an Omega." Usually others hated him for being in his rank, he wasn't good at much so he always thought that it was the best for him to be where he was. "I am usually pretty shy, and you are really one of the first wolves that I have had a lengthy conversation with in awhile."

Foster's nose crinkled in confusion and he nearly halted to a stop. "What? Why would that make me dislike you? You said yourself that wolves don't judge in this pack. It doesn't make me think any lesser of you. I was an omega in my old pack as well. And I don't think I could hate you if I tried. You've shown me more kindness just now than my old pack put together before they realized I was bisexual." Foster explained, trying to reassuring the brute. The way omegas were treated was wrong in his eyes. He didn't care what rank, gender, or sexuality that Ruben had. He was no different to Foster.

Ruben felt a smile creep up onto his face, but as soon as it came it wavered into a frown. "We are accepting, but ranks are still ranks no matter what pack you join." He shrugged. Looking away from Foster, he padded into the familiar surroundings of camp and glanced around. It seemed everyone was pretty much out doing other things except Huyana and Capricorn. I probably should let one of them know, but they look busy. He thought, just deciding that he should let Leo know himself.

Autumn had slept for a few hours unscathed before she awakened and was permanently up. She yawned and looked down at the pack's land and noticed more had come to join the ranks. Thinking the alpha may want to have everyone close at hand, she stood and began to make hurt way back to camp.

Hunter / Single / Alone / Feeling Proud

Cree decided since the day was still young that he needed to get more game for the pack. Returning briefly to the hunting grounds, he managed to catch a fox and another rabbit. Pleased with his haul, he trotted back to the camp ground and laid the game for everyone to view. The two brutes from the waterfall had made it back so he let them and everyone else there have first pick and lied down in the shade.

"Me? I don't really socialize often, as I'm pretty shy. I was never around wolves much, so I get a bit nervous when speaking with others. However, if I find something wrong or unjust, I always stand up for what I believe is right no matter what anyone else says. When I fight though, it's like I'm a different wolf, I don't really think I just act; I can be brave, daring, bold, and can even taunt my opponent if I know I'm going to beat them. That, and when I fight, I fight until my last breath; I will die if it helps protect this pack. Another thing about me is that I don't trust to easily, as I've always been so dependent on myself for a long time, and get angered easily whenever someone offers or even asks to help me, since it makes me feel weak. If someone does befriend me, and earn my trust, I can be really open and playful with them, and I have been told by one that I am funny and compassionate."

"My father left my mother before I was born, so I never knew who he was. My mother said I look a lot like him though. When I was able to hunt and fend for myself, my mother had found us a pack she wanted us to join. I didn't like the pack, however, because my sexuality wasn't accepted there. The scar on my left cheek is from the Alpha when he realized I was bi-sexual and hit me to the ground, exiling me. I was about one and a half years old when that happened, so it wasn't like I couldn't care for myself, and I traveled a long ways alone in search of a pack who would accept me and who I really was. I didn't really bother socializing much, the only times I did was to get directions, speak to a pack's Alpha, and occasionally whenever I got in a fight for food or shelter. Then I wandered here and found this pack, and am hoping that I've finally found my place in life."

"Whenever someone offers to help me, or asks if I need help, I get really snippy. I don't mean to bark at them and be so harsh, but it's just a natural instinct. I've never really had much help all my life, and I feel weak whenever I do need it, and I hate feeling weak.

My shyness is also a flaw too, I guess. I tend to avoid socialization during time when I'm not needed, so I guess I'll never really get a mate if I don't talk to anyone first."

Of course I'll fight to the death, I wont flee like a coward with my tail under my legs, but I fear I'll die in battle yet be forgotten so easily in a short time, that I wont be remembered for dying for my pack. I never really felt like I belong anywhere, and even in this pack I feel like I'm missing something, someone, to show me that I belong here and that I'm worthy. Yeah... stupid fears, I know..."

Rebel wandered through the trees, letting the fresh air clear his mind. "Being alone out here is really peaceful; as usual." He stated to himself, letting the calmness of being alone sink in. He was grateful that the times when he always had to watch his back was over, and that he's found a new pack who accepts him for who he is.
