"Oh boy. I'm a shy person at first, and extremely awkward. After you get to know me well enough, I'm on the mischievous side, and I tend to be a bit hyper; all while still being a bit awkward. I usually know when it's time to be serious, but they're are times when I don't realize it's time to stop. I have a bit of a temper, and I need time to cool down after I get upset. My brother says I don't have much self-esteem, and I guess I've noticed it myself?"

"My mother and father ran away from our old pack as soon as me and my two brothers were born. Ash was born with no hind left paw, and my parents knew he would be taken away and more than likely be left for dead somewhere. After about 5 months the pack found us. They demanded that we all return except for Ash, who was to be left behind. My father refused and snapped at one of the warriors, who killed him in front of us. They then took our mother away and left all three of us there. A few weeks later, Ash fell ill and died. Stereotypical-tragic-back-story sounding, right? Well, it's what happened. We buried Ash in the same spot we used to live then carried on with life. Sorry, no big 'I will now change the world for better!' ending, we just carried on as normal loners for a while. The end."

Ruben actually looked up at him as he spoke. His story him home for him and in a way he dubbed them as almost alike, except he doubted Foster was as skittish. "Actually, the pack that I am in accepts all kinds of wolves. I know what you mean by being in and out of other packs, I was doing that for pretty much my entire life until I came here." Surprisingly the itch radiating through his scars started to die down as he kept talking. "Alpha Leo is not at camp right now, but I can take you back there if you want." It seemed that with his last statement his confidence started to dissipate as much as his itch and it wasn't long until he started looking at the ground again.

Foster thought for a moment, curious as to what the pack was like. But at the thought of how accepting they were, his heart picked up and he suddenly felt giddy. Foster wanted to see what the pack was like and meet the wolves in it. Nodding after a while, Foster's smile stretched wide. "Glad to see we have some things in common. I would love to meet the pack. Joining an accepting pack like the one you described sounds amazing actually. If you don't mind." Foster rushed out the last sentence, already standing, tail wagging gently and ears perked.

Jade slowly walked towards the river, her ears perked and alert. "Hey Neph, do you hear that? It sounds like a waterfall or some other running water. Either way, I think I found us a place to rest and rehydrate."

Ruben nodded at him, ears flattening once again. "Follow me." He said quitely, motioning toward the direction of where camp was. It was only a short trip to the main part of the territory and it looked like he would have to stay with Foster until Leo came back. As he started padding away from the waterfall, he glanced back seeing if the new wolf was following. Foster made him kind of nervous so he wanted to keep an eye on him as much as he could. "Why are you looking for a pack like ours anyway? I mean if you don't mind me asking." He asked quietly, not wanting to pry of offend him. He knew that Foster would hurt him, but he was still afraid of a beating anyway.

Jade finally got to the river and carefully laid down on the rocks next to it. "Finally, my paws huuuurt." She whined, looking back at Neph. "My paws hurt, make them better."

Neph chuckled a bit, lying down next to his sister. "Just stay off them and rest for a bit, you'll be fine." Neph perked his ears, hearing the waterfall. "You were right, there's a waterfall further up the river. It's actually calming. I like it." Neph's eyes slowly slid shut, his muscles relaxing.

Cree padded his way to the edge of the lake where the water levelled off into a river. He dropped his game and immediately bathed his bloody face and paws, glad to be rid of the reek of the dead squirrel. Voices caught his attention and soon he noticed he was among many others. Two brutes had just left the waterfall and a brute and fae downstream. They didn't appear malicious and their presence made him very curious.

Foster hopped to his feet, composing himself and trotting next to, but a little behind, Ruben. His paws were silent against the ground, light and delicate steps as always. Foster turned sheepish when Ruben asked him why he was looking for a pack such as theirs. He blushed under his fur, looking around. "I uh, I'm bisexual. They didn't like the fact that I was any different than they were. No one has accepted me for who I am." He explained, looking down at the ground. Now it was his turn to be shy.

Jade smiled a bit and nudged Neph with her nose, not knowing that there were other wolves close by. "Don't just fall asleep on me! I'll get bored and leave you behind."

Neph opened his eyes and sighed. "Sorry, it's just so nice.." He slowly stood up and stretched, then proceeded to take a drink. Out of the corner of his eye he saw Jade do the same.

Ruben raised an eyebrow (well whatever eyebrows that wolves had) at his comment. "Well I accept you. And so will everyone else. You aren't alone, that is why Leo established this pack... For others like us." He said, turning to give him a small smile as he spoke. "I know I'm pretty shy, but you don't have have to be."
