Chien snorted. "Well she needs to accept it. This won't be the first time, either. It's very likely that I will get ousted of the pride when I am no longer in my prime, and if she is carrying my cubs then, the new lion would kill them as well." Chien murmured truthfully. Lionesses stayed in the same territory all the time, so they lived longer than lions did. Other lions could challenge Chien for his rank. Right now Chien was the prime age of five, but he doubted he'd rule for more than four years, seeing as a lion's incredible strength started deteriorating around those years. Chien was a realist, and he was trying to just make Magi accept it, but he really did care for all the members of his pride.

Vitani sighed, flicking her ears. "Your always so...uptight." Tani laughed, head butting him playfully.

Chien snorted in return, nosing her back playfully. "Is that wrong?" He retorted slightly cheekily, smiling as well.

"Its just one of those characteristics I like about you." she retorted, nipping his ear.

At that, Chien let out a soft, gutteral purr, nosing her fondly before lying down next to her, the heat of the day making him tired. He was still waiting for her answer though, so he waited.

Silver move uncomfortably in her sleep, her stomach growing as it longed for food, she had not recovered from her hunger. With a growl she jumped up wanting to hunt. It was growing dark, most beast have probably gone to sleep so it was a good time to hunt talking them by surprise. "Mother would you like to go hunting with me?" She softly call to the sleeping lioness.

Snow
Dreaming she heard her daughter calling her. Snow pushed herself up trying to make out the sound "um ok" She walked to Chien who was beside Vitani "Chien? I am going hunting with Silver."

Chien looked up as he heard pawsteps, seeing Snow. At her words, he nodded quietly. "Yes, I suppose now would be a good time. " He nudged Vitani gently, wondering if she was asleep. "Ask Vitani if she wishes to go as well. With more lionesses, perhaps we could even make more than one kill." He said quietly, looking around. In the darkness, it was relatively easy to kill them with just one lioness to make them move, so the other two might be able to make two seperate kills, maybe even three. The thought of such a feast excited him, as he knew it would help all of them strengthen up. Especially Silver, she had been emaciated when she had came, and though she looked a little better, with a bit more flesh on her bones, Chien thought that she would do better with more food. Two lionesses were pregnant now as well, so they needed the nutrition.

Ummm... I know it's not really my position to say so, seeing as I am not a mod, but if you have a cub it will be pretty bleak, because lions kill cubs that are not theirs, and lionesses often don't adopt cubs that aren't theirs unless there is an abundance of food and they are feeling generous...)
