"It's okay, sweetheart," she said, her voice silky. He really was very sweet for wanting to take care of her. She closed her eyes, snoozing for a good hour or two. She awoke later and felt energized. She stood up, nudging Dark. "Now, did you want to go find some others?" she asked. As much as she loved it being just her and Dark, she knew that there was safety in numbers.

Chrom's ears flicked back and forth, he snorted softly as he looked carefully for any mares. He was determined to protect this herd, that is if he could get a hold of any mares this year, hopefully he could keep bachelors and band stallions away. He let out another whinny and began to trot down the hill he was standing on, looking for lone mares who could join him.

Kronos perked his ears to the mares reply and looked back to Whisper before looking at paint mare. He slowly made his way over to her but only stopping a few feet away. He bobbed his head lightly "Hello there." He said softly wondering if she would answer.

Image smiled. "H..Hello" she said softly as she stepped back carefully. the paint mare was unsure how to act... she'd recently left her fathers herd and he was the only stalllion other than her brothers she'd come across.

Aimlessly wandering about the vast green plains, the spotted mare sighed contently. Everything was fine in Snow's world, she was safe and well. The wise mare continued walking, unsure of where she was actually going. Realizing that there was really no where else to go, the mare simply located a spot of fresh grass and went over to eat.

Lowering her head, the mustang cross began to graze peacefully, occasionally lifting her muzzle from the grass to check for danger. Snow stayed alert, listening carefully for the first sign of predators. Nothing came. It was true, everything in Snow's little world was alright, and the mare hoped it would stay that way. But a wild horses life is never certain, cruel twists of fate are around every corner. Fate always won in the end...

The dark mare ambled around the meadow, often stopping to graze. At the moment she had no intentions of doing anything much. Unlike some she wasn't desperate for a herd, nor was she struggling to hide from the many bachelor stallions. She didn't care, but if she was going to join a herd the stallion would have to prove himself first.

☾ A couple of hours later, when Honey was more energetic, Dark and his mare set off in search of a friend for Honey. The stallion steered clear of the other stallions. "Do you see any mares?" He asked his only mare, and favorite mare. To his disappointment there didn't seem to be any female horses in the area.

Chrom sighed softly, seems like most mares were already in herds, but that wasn't too surprising. He wasn't exactly the strongest, but he was quick so perhaps he could snake, but then he saw something. His nostril's flared slightly and his ears pricked, the stallion turned his head to see a mare nearby, Snow, who seemed to be alone. Interested, he let out a low whinny and began to make his way over to her, trying his best not to look like a threat.

Kronos bowed his head to the mare, showing that he wasn't a threat to her. He lifted his head and gave a gentle smile her "My name is Kronos, the paint filly is name Echo and the paint mare is Whisper." He said gesturing to the two behind him. He looked back to the mare "Whats your name?" he asked softly.

Epona came out of the trees were she had rested for the night. She walked into the clearing then shook her body, sending a dust cloud out all around her.She glanced around and perked her ears, hearing the sounds of stallions calling to mare and then mares answering back. She stayed still, listening to the calls before lowering her head and grazing on the tall grass.
