"Yep, this is my third." Akecheta responded as Fedora huddled against her. "Do you know my half-brother, Ahiga?" she added, nodding towards the stag that had backed up slightly. She was attempting to start a conversation, but was unfortunately not known for being a very good conversationalist. Akecheta wanted to calm the frightened fawn.

"....No." Fedora finally replied in a small tone. "I don't know any stags...Actually." She added almost in a whisper.

"What's her problem now?" Cowan muttered to himself, as he noticed Glory watching him. That hind really seemed to have it out for him, worse than Hazel almost. He narrowed his eyes on her and shook his head. " Hello lovely! I'm just sitting here being a spectator." He cooed at her. " No need to get your tail in a bunch again, if you would like we can spectate together! Sounds fun yes? We can share new ideas I am sure, talk about what a nice day it is and all that fluff."

"Well allow me to introduce you to your first one! This is Ahiga, my half-brother. He's kind of anti-fighting, so you won't see him in many skirmishes. Ahiga, this is Fedora. She's..." Akecheta didn't really know anything about this fawn, so she waited to see if Fedora would complete the sentence herself.

"New...And Shy...And New...But I already said that didn't I...Now I'm just gonna be...Quiet..." Fedora mumbled the last few words, and stood now close to Akcheta, her long feeble legs trembling once and a while. It wasn't out of fear, just. Stags. In general. Fedora shook out her spotted coat, and looked at the older hind with pleading eyes.

Ahiga smiled softly, "My pleasure," he said dipping his head again. He looked at Akecheta, "I do have to admit, that I have been in a few scuffles this rut," he said, he didn't have any marks to show it, accept a fresh cut made by an antlers on his chest. He turned back to Fedora, normally he would just leave the hind to herself, but at her age, he knew it was important to be comfortable around all deer.


Hazel smiled, and tried to get Cowan off his mind. She leaned into Iso, glad that Iso had chosen her.

Iso pulled her closer as she leaned in, happy that she seemed to be getting more comfortable with him. He watched around for danger, and nuzzled Hazel gently.

Fedora flicked her tail, and returned the bow of the head. The stag didn't seem to bad, if he didn't scare her or talk to her too much, the hind would get out of her shell more and start playing around. Fedora straitened out her legs, and lifted her head up, trying to be like Aketcheta. Fedora slowly nodded her head, trying to be brave. "The pleasure is mine." She finally said, and half smiled at her reply, her ears perking before swiveling back again.

Akecheta carefully watched both deer. She was trying to decide what they thought of each other. She was surprised that Ahiga had been in any fights. "Who's the lucky hind?" she asked him jokingly.

Being the curious little hind she was, Fedora steadily walked over to some rustling grass. Out of the blue, a rabbit bolted out making the hind leap in the air with a little yelp. She landed, wide-eyed and her legs out in front of her strait. After standing like this, Fedora regained herself, and slowly walked back to Aketcheta.
