Decided to mind my own business, I trotted back to camp, the sent of fresh kill jumped straight at me as I walked past the borders. I stood still, sniffed, and then decided that I was not that hungry. I switched my right ear as I heard the slight movement of my own species. I turned my head to see the same vixen that I had confronted before. I turned my body in her direction, but then stood still, head held high as I waited for her reaction.

I watch the vixen leave, wondering where she was going and whether I should follow her. But, looking back at my kits, I decided to stay here and let Gracie nurse. Lying down, I nudged her close to my stomach so she could nurse.
