I meet Jace's eyes. Dropping my voice I say "I just have to get her final answer, then we can go. As soon as we are in range I can call for help, they will meet us on-route" I say softly, then turn back to meet Jezzie's eyes for a final time. "So Jezzie... Whats your answer?"

"No!" Jezzie growled. Jezzie was fed up with all the dogs criticizing her. Jezzie bolted through the forest, her blue eyes darting through the forest. Jezzie jumped over a log and laid down under the thick canopy of the trees.

I nod slowly. "Well then, Jezzie and Chakotay should be back soon, I will hear her side too. Until then you are free to either stay in the pack grounds or wander around of your own free will" I say, standing up properly and stepping down from the rock. We would be leaving soon "We will be leaving soon but you
are free to accompany us"

My smile broadens as we continue to play fight. Clouds with legs? Wow, that sounded weird. I can't wait to see one! I yip happily as she leaps at me, enjoying her company. I really hoped Max and Sammi could become friends, then we could spend even more time together when we get home. I leg my legs go under me, dropping to the ground and roll away, creating a small dust cloud that catches in my fur, staining it brown.

I sigh, this would be hard to explain. "Okay, lets go" I say sadly as Jezzie's tail disappears. I carefully balance half of Bey's weak body on my back, making it easier and safer to transport us. "Just follow me, I'll go slow" I say softly, to avoid disturbing Bey. I take a cautious step forward, just to make sure Bey was safe on my back.

Jace started walking Nd flinched when Bey coughed. He couldn't stop now, they were finally getting her help... "Hold on sweetheart, you'll be fine." Jace looked at Chakotay. "How far? I mean, Beys a trouper and all... But she's sick and I don't know if we can carry her very far..." Bey was usually very light, but her pregnancy had made her gain weight.

I sniff the air, Traces of the packs presence were in the air so we couldn't be too far away. "Not too far, maybe half a mile until I can call the pack. It shouldn't take long if we pace ourselves." I say judging the distance and area between us. Just some fallen logs and rocks to avoid but otherwise a slightly curved line to follow.

Giggling and plopping down near Dingo, Charm sneezed at the dust. Her multicolored eyes watched him happily, shifting to lick his cheek with a hesitant flick of her ears. It was clear she had taken a liking to the male, and she hoped he would not mind. Curly tail wagging atop her back, Miracle rolled herself, small paws flailing in the air and yaps and odd growls sounding from the squirming female as she scratched her back. It looked silly but she itched and took some effort to scratch under her thick fur. Stopping on her back, she leaned her head on its side and smiled at Dingo, tongue hanging out of her maw and eyes bright.

The large male felt a pain as a thought crossed his mind. Staying meant he would have to tell her what had happened. Hurt her. Ears falling back, he seemed conflicted and saddened. A soft whimper slipped out, a sound that seemed unlikely for him. Standing, he nodded. Right. She had...a pack and what not. He had really gotten carried away. Luca was to devote her time to them, not to him. It was so odd. His mind never felt so pained. Nor his heart. But he did not want to hurt her or burden her, even if it meant the terrible pain of leaving. Standing, a rather feral howl sang out from him, a distant few others joining his own voice. The male trotted into the trees.

Breeze had seemingly dazed off a bit cause the next thing she knew she was being told Jessie had ran off and there was a new male scent in the air mixed with..blood? She listened to what was told to her and nodded,"Great, I'll handle it thank you. You remain here and have some medicine ready just in case things have turned bad out there. The woods is no place for a pregnant female." She told the loyal much smaller dog before stretching and padding toward the woods. The other two, Jessie and Chakotay, would have covered some ground but they were not as long legged as her and though she was not made for endurance her short distant speed was good for just this.

Breeze shook herself her small whip like tail wagged for a small second before becoming still as with a stance she bolted for the tree line leaving the pack behind her. She was tall and she was lean. She sailed over tree logs gracefully as she ran falling scents but had to stop at one point cause of the confusion of the flowers but she quickly found the trail again and set off. Low to the ground she pretended she was in a race and was head to head, nose to nose, and chest to chest with an opponent. That opponent would feel her dirt. Breeze realizing she had got carried away in her imagination slowed to a pause and sniffed the air once more. Chakotay..and two new smells? Slowly she walked forward into sight her warm brown eyes taking in the three dogs but no Jessie.."Where is Jessie?" She asked her voice soft but firm.

Bey and Jace

Jace's head jerked up and he growled at the female, baring his teeth. Bey was sick and vulnerable, he couldn't let anyone hurt her. Jace lowered the unconscious female to the ground and protectively stepped over her. "Who are you?" He snarled, his deep voice echoing through the trees. His gaze snapped questioning lay from the female to Chakotay, waiting for his answer.

Breeze lifted her nose at the smaller and much stockier dog then she that barred his canines at her. She reigned in her snappy reply,"I am Breeze beta of the Infinity Pack. I am here to sort out this mess that was caused. And WHO are YOU." She said a hint of a growl touching her words. She did not like to be threatened especially by a male even if he was just being protective. She looked past him to the female smelling the sour scent of sickness on her. Breeze took in her condition and looked back at the male and Chakotay,"I got medicine waiting at the pack take them to it or howl and have it brought to you. I will continue to Jessie."

((I'm sorry, I don't mean to be rude, but Jace is neither short nor stocky. Pitbulls come in various shapes and sizes, and Jace happens to be tall and muscular))

Bey and Jace

Jace snarled then laid his ears back. He hated cocky dogs. "I am Jacion, one of the gang leaders from the city. Everyone calls my Jace. We were taken here and Bey needs help. Now." Jace looked at her, he didn't want to ask for help, but Bey was dying.

Bey raggedly coughed again, her chest heaving and contracting. Her pregnant belly did not make her look any bigger. In fact, she looked rather frail. She woke up with a shiver and a cold breath, looking up at Jace, Breeze and Chakotay. She whined quietly, there were dogs she didn't know, and it scared her.

Jace turned to Bey, licking her head. "Shhh go back to sleep, everything will be fine."
